Wonder why Jimmy's going with the "I Don"t Know" name for his Tour 2017?
I don't think he's ever repeated a tour name before?
Maybe he had a lot of T-shirts and merchandise left over from last year and decided this was the best way to get rid of it.
Seems odd to me. I'm still going to Frisco regardless of the tour's name - but - inquiring minds want to know - because I Don't Know.

I saw where Vegas' tickets go on sale Feb. 13, but if you go to the secondary ticket outlets like Vividseats you can buy them right now.
What's up with that?
And I agree with BigFinandLittleFin - I'm calling the tour Escape to Margaritaville.
I already have the "I Don't Know" T-shirt and don't need another.

The reason for the third party sites like vivid having tickets on sale already is that for the Vegas show, their is a presale for American Express holders. Tickets are wicked expensive. But that's Vegas!

It should come in the next few days, from what I'm hearing.
I've been trying to figure out who will open for Jimmy.
ZZ Top, who had to cancel last year is open the entire month of June, and Huey Lewis and the News who opened for him a few years ago, is also open all of June. I'm betting on ZZ Top, since so many people were disappointed last year.
Personally I preferred Jerry Jeff Walker and Jango.

It looks like the announcement will be made around Feb. 20th. And I have no idea why it is taking so long to make the announcement...frustrating!

Is there any chance Jimmy might do Frisco on Saturday, May 27, instead of June 10 as we have all been thinking?
I just found out I have a major conflict on June 10 and can't change plans.
This will be the first one I will miss in years.
Been bummed out every since I found out about the conflict.
The soccer team has a game at the Toyota Stadium May 28, so its free the night before.
And all the Frisco graduations are in the first week of June.
What do think?
Got my fins crossed for May 27, now.

Houston show Thursday June 8 just announced. Makes it look really good for Frisco on Saturday, that is usually how it works.

My guess is that the opening act may be the hold up...but we will know either Monday or Tuesday.

Yes, it is confirmed. The Parrothead clubs have gotten notification so they can put in their ticket orders. Expecting the general announcement to land sometime today. No mention of an opening act yet.

I've got a hotel room, but I won't make plane reservations until I actually see it as officially confirmed.
Hopefully airfares won't skyrocket in the meantime.
