Yes I have it in writing from Live Nation in an email that Alpine will have 5 shows. Plus, www.alpinestaff.com states that there are 5 shows scheduled for the summer
Not that I don't believe you, but can you show the exact location of the Alpine staff page that states it?

I have had hope for Alpine even with the Wrigley show. Saturday in Charlottesville I got to chat with Mike Utley and I said I know you will know, should we expect an Alpine announcement soon. With 0 hesitation he answered, we aren't doing Alpine this year, we are doing Wrigley.

Well that sucks. Wonder who the last concert to be announced is though.

Guess I'll settle for Wrigley, but I'll get tickets close to show date when people dump them.

Plus Des Moines kind of kills the need for Alpine. Wrigley is probably supposed to cover Chicago/Milwaukee, and Des Moines is probably supposed to cover everybody who usually travels east to Alpine.

Who is Mike Utley? I looked it up and all I found was the former Lions player who was paralyzed during a game.

I've had a playlist sitting in my iTunes library since December 2016 called "Buffett Tinley 2017." Obviously it has still yet to be played at either Tinley or Alpine...

Looks like no Alpine this year. My sources that were so confident a few months ago are now booking all reservations and do not have a Buffett weekend planned. A little off topic but I wonder if Jimmy realizes the economic impact his concert has on the surrounding area? All the little bars, restaurants, and campgrounds are usually packed for 3 or 4 days. I know myself I spend at least $500 that weekend not including the price of admission. Just a little rant and I hope my sources are incorrect. Otherwise it looks like my Target Field show will be my only Buffett concert this year.

The only Alpine mystery that seems to be in need of solving is if it has the supposed 5th show and what that will be.

Maybe. But just remember that someday the party will come to an end. Schedule isn't great for me this year either, but I am sucking it up and heading to Pittsburgh, which is a new venue for me. Cleveland is my hometown venue, and I can't even go to that one- made plans months ago for the holiday weekend.
