Well Jimmy. Last year's concert was a home run. A Early sell out. The first Saturday concert in years. At 630am 2000 people were waiting to get into the parking lot. By 10am, 8 thousand people were already tailgating. Make it Saturday again. Where the term Parrot Head began. Fins Up

Have always went to Chicago/Indy/St Louis/Alpine, we are going to try and do Cincinatti this year.
Any hotel recommendations, same side of the river or over the river?

Riverbend music is just inside Ohio . The first exit in Ohio if you are going eastbound on 275 from Kentucky. If you want to stay away from most of the traffic. Stay in Northern Kentucky near the interstate 275. I live in northern kentucky. so if you are coming. post it here and I will tell you all the places good and close to stay. There is some hotels just up the road on 275 in Ohio from Riverbend Music also.

I have stayed at the Comfort Suites in New Port. Right across the street from the party store. Last year they had a special breakfast planned for the day after and lots of great decorations the day. Great atmosphere and usually many Buffett concert goers stay there.

Yep! The grass lots across from the park entrance open at 8. Last year was a special Saturday show. We lined up at 6:45 and barely got in.

It was JB"s fiftieth show and a Saturday. The grass lot is not huge, but is THE PLACE TO PARTY. There are huge lots to the west of Riverbend for those less fortunate. Check it on google maps.

You are correct. We got there at 745am . we were sent to the larger parking lot across the street. By 11am, the parking lot was already pack with tailgaters. There was 8 thousand people tailgating by 12 noon. Riverbend holds 21 thousand.

No Rumors Yet. I called River Bend and asked the receptionist if Jimmy Buffett was coming to RiverBend? She gave me prerehearsed response. She said. Log on to RiverBend web site or Margaritaville web site for information. I think he is coming. I just dont know when. He needs to get the dates out so people can start planning some summer vactions.

My Best guess , Jimmy is coming July 10th. July 5th Camden. July 7th Pittsburgh. July 10th Tuesday Cincinnati ???? July 13 Wrigley field. Very few other dates open at RiverBend until August 11th Saturday.

Cincinnati, the wait is over. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at Riverbend Music Center for one night only, TUESDAY July 10 at 8pm, as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Son Of A Son Of A Sailor” Tour 2018.

Weird that neither of the two traditional epicenters of Parrothead fandom (Atlanta and Cincinnati) got a Saturday show. Scheduling conflicts?
