Fingers looked and sounded great!

It was great to see Fingers playing with Jimmy again. It looked like old times up there with the two of them jamming side by side. They both really seemed to enjoy it and the crowd loved it!

You missed it?
Unfortunately, yes. I was doing other things in the yard that involved fire and old receipts. I can't wait to hear a recording of this!

This WAS the concert I was supposed to get tickets to for my 21st bday... DANG IT!!!!!!!

Fingers

Post by Bwana Paul »

Fingers is the man. I love him.

What I think the final band line-up will be...

Jimmy Buffett- lead vocals, guitar
Mac McAnally, lead guitar, vocals
Robert Greenidge, steel drum
Ralph MacDonald, congas
Michael Utley, piano

PLUS

Greg "Fingers" Taylor, harmonica

No bass, no drums. The "Beach Band." That's what I think.

Mac has Fingers back stage with him... Fingers will probably play the encore Fins
Correction: Fingers played keyboards during most of Margaritaville and Utley just danced and sang while smiling his ass off. Fingers then played harp during Fins.

This was followed by Greg going backstage. Jimmy then called him back out for band introductions, gave him a HUGE hug put his arm around him and whispered into his ear. Greg then walked off stage and the place was just going NUTS! I still haven't gotten my voice back. :P :P :P

I think it will be closer to what they had in Aspen last December, with Jimmy, Mac, Roger Guth, the Mayers, plus Robbie G, Ralph, and Jake.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

We were there and it was fantastic! The place went berserk! Then we went up to Put-In-Bay for "The Phlocking of the Phaithful" and Greg "Fingers" was part of the entertainment with K.D. Moore. At the party at The Skyway he bought me a Bloody Mary and he asked me about the crowd reaction and if I had a great time. Great and YES!
