Alpine it will be nice to have you back in my heart again this year!! After two seasons off, one due to a brother’s wedding and the other due to Wrigley Field, I guess I can’t complain about either of those. Memorial Day at Wrigley was pretty amazing, and my brothers’ wedding was pretty fun as well though. This will be lucky #13 for me and I will be taking three virgins down to the show as well. We will be camping out at Whitewater state park, anyone else?? Can this week please go by faster!!

We're traveling from Virginia and this will be our first show.I've set up my computer to record the show but I'm not sure everything will work. I'll share mine for free to anyone if I get it, just keep me in the loop on others who might capture it so we can all enjoy.
Thanks!

Weather tomorrow for East Troy, WI, will be partly cloudy (mostly sunny if you are a true Parrothead) and a high of about 77 degrees. The rain that is passing through this morning will be gone.

I can't wait to get to Alpine tomorrow. Tinley Park was a blast even though the sound was muddled as usual. Alpine should be great. The people that built that place back in the late 70's knew what they were doing.

See you in the parking lot.

How about a clue of what to look for? And don't tell me a Hawaiian shirt, grass skirt, coconut bra or Jimmy tour shirt. That's like telling someone to look for them at Sturgis wearing a black T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans and riding a Harley.

Look for a bunch of people wearing BN Lanyards and nametags...

We'll have a blue canopy, I'll have jambalaya cooking up, we'll be among the early arrivals, so towards the front of the parking lot, and if you want, call me at 262-271-2007

OR you could just caravan over with us. We meet at the town square in East Troy at 12.00. I'll be there waving a pirate flag to help everyone get together.

Captain,
Thanks for the invitation. My wife has an appointment in the late morning so we won't be in East Troy that early. But I will attempt to find you good folks before the show. Thanks for the phone number.

Looking forward to the parrothead day tomorrow at Alpine. Was in the Keys for a week over the 4th July and am totally stoked! 5th row this year after 10-12 years just making it under the pavillion. 20 or so of us from the neighborhood again on a bus.

TRIVIA QUESTION FOR PARROTHEADS:
Which of the following songs were not written cowritten with or exclusively by Steve Goodman?
a. It's Midnight and I'm not Famous Yet
b. Where's the Party?
c. Incommunicado
d. California Promises

CONGRATS - how fun is this? Any tips for the rest of us on how to score 5th row? I am not sure we have cracked the top 100?

Alpine is huge and a PIA for exiting but we had fun last year!!! And interesting to see all the bon fires post-show? :-? I think - was waiting for Smokey the Bear to show up - major pyrotechnic stuff going on.

ENJOY YOUR SELF!!! :D
