It's REALLY SIMPLE!!

What song does Jimmy come out and do for his second encore with his acoustic guitar and for the next three weeks every REAL Parrot Head can't stop talking about how much that meant to them? :D

See, I'm so not in that category.

Now this is what does it for me...

Me too  Just wait until your knocking on 50. APLAF carries a lot more weight.

When Mrs. TR and I were in our late 20's we went and saw the movie Four Seasons with Alan Alda and Carol Burnett. We thought it was a good movie. Well, it was on this winter, and it was like we never saw it before :D

I figure it this way...
APLA40 is JB's tribute song to a friend (and his appealing lifestyle)
OPH is a song about JB's picture of paradise (for himself and us all!)

Friends and piracy are fine... but the South Pacific (with good times
in the Caribbean sunshine thrown in) trumps them in my book.

I watched that movie a LOT as a kid (I probably shouldn't have) but Mom is a big Alan Alda fan.

Both are great live. It's snowing in Chicago, so I'll just try and dream of summer with Jimmy playing.

Gotta go with APLAF. It's always the highlight of the concert.

Gotta be OPH!!

from one of my first posts here ...

... "my 'epiphany' came during a southern Caribbean cruise in Dec. '98. 10 of us spent an afternoon sailing aboard Capt. Spencer's catamaran "Happy Hour" in St. Thomas. His CD player had Jimmy and Bob Marley in it and I fell in love with OPH and No Woman, No Cry."

This was the song that brought it all together for me!!
'Cause I want to be there, I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there ...
