La Vie Dansante
Excellent lyrical expression of some of life's truths ("They could come take it all away') and some excellent suggestions for deal with 'em ('..live when a new surprise surrenders')

I really love this album! It is hard for me to pick one favorite song on this album. She's Going Out of My Mind is one of my top faves just because I love the way he sings it. Ragtop Day totally rocks. Bigger Than the Both of us, I love it because I am a romantic, and I just cant' help it. When I listen to this album I get the sense that Jimmy was going through a lot of stuffat the time, and some of the best songs come out of contemplation.

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

Just reiterating.....pbans wrote:La Vie Dansante because I like the idea of it....but Knees of My Heart is a close second.....I need to get this album out, it's not one that I listen to very often and I don't think I appreciate it as much as I should!!
Not only my favorite from this album.....but one of my favorites, period!

Not my favorite CD, but Who's the Blond Stranger is pretty good. Ragtop Day, La Vie Dansante are also in mix.
"I need to start growing up," I thought to myself the other day, as I sat in my pillow fort.
