Aaaaagggghhhh....those first 3 songs...it's like choosing between your children
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

FALSE ECHOES.
A beautiful song about Jimmy's fantatstic father. And since I have the world's SECOND best story teller as a father, who, at 82, is getting closer and closer to THE home port, I chose this one.

Bob Roberts.. Just the thought of a casual Sunday
afternoon with a band on a town square..
Oh and according to the Data base. I was at the show the last time it was played live..

Hard to chose between Jamaica Mistaica and School Boy Heart, but I'm going with SBH for all the good lyrics. I always seem to go for the songs that are ballads about Jimmy.
I do love how Jimmy does JM at the live show, but when I'm just listening to favorites, SBH would be on the list.

Agreed. Best sonf from a decent but uneven album.

Happily Ever After. As I go through these it has dawned on me that I love his slow stuff. There are some great lines and sentiments expressed in this song. Might be my favorite Jimmy song.

Some people never find it, some only pretend; but me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

That's his best line from any of his songs and has been my signature since the day I joined BN.

Some people never find it, some only pretend; but me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.
