[lurk mode off]

Missed this show, but made it home in time to catch the last few tracks.

Love the appropriateness of TTR, esp with the Paris line, and TEN YEARS?!? Oh, heck yeah!!!

Dez-I have no fear that MJM is already strongly indoctrinated, but if this holds true, he should hold the rudder steady for life for sure!

I think a nap sounds absolutely divine for me, too...it's getting grey out there, and the rain's a-comin my way soon, so...nap before the thunder, I say.

Thanks for the set list and the fun!

Not sure if it was covered yet (I am too lazy to look right now and need a shower after the show) but it was not actally Alan Jackson but Keith who has the big Buffett heads. Jimmy took it and wore it during the song

Yes I was at the show ... in the pavilion section so I didn't get wet until we were on our way out. Great show! Good timing for "Stars on the Water" ... it started pouring then.

Yes, Keith sat with me, my wife and daughter

I had tickets in Section 2, Row B (actually same seats for Thursday and Saturday) and I brought him in with me to sit with us. My daughter had a blast with the Alan Jackon mask. Yes, the real Alan Jackson was not there.

Wooo hoooo!

Way to go, phjim!

Thanks, jimsig for the info.

I think Ravi called and told Dave and Janice it was the Alan Jackson cutout face.

Did y'all take photos? Can't wait to see them.

Did Jimmy actually put the cutout face of Alan on? Too fun. Hope y'all post photos.

Oh I get it now... It was the Alan Jackson cutout face in the audience, not actually Alan Jackson...

Kind of like when the pope was in the audience at the Woodlands this year!

It WAS Ravi that texted me and said Jimmy had that cutout on... but I wasn't there so what do I know!

Thanks for the info phjim, jimsig and Steele1161!

Disapointment

Post by aparrotheadcook » September 6, 2008 8:04 pm

There are no words to explain the disapointment from today. We Had to leave the concert about 30 minutes after it started because of a bunch of drunken as%^&*(les on the lawn area starting fights and slidding down the mud landing over inocent SOBER people. What used to be the hottest must anticipated show in town turned has turned out to be an overpriced show crowded with 23 yr old punks that dont even know who Buffett is and and only there to make an ass out of themselves. 12 yrs in a row and this was my last one
