Does anyone know if this is being broadcast on Radio Margaritaville and, if so, what time the show starts, either Parisan time (CEST) or EST?

I doubt it, but it starts at 0800PM Paris time or 0200PM EST.

Anyone know the reason why RM does not broadcast the Paris shows?

I actually took off early from work today based on the following statement on the RM website:

"Every time Jimmy takes the stage, we'll be there to broadcast the performance."

To me, "every time" means if Jimmy has a promoted show, RM will broadcast it. I don't expect RM to follow him around and broadcast live every time he enters a bar and decides to strap on a guitar, but if it is show on the tour list I would expect them to broadcast it from the wording on their web page.

Maybe their budget doesn't cover such trips? I think they should change the wording on RM so it's not as misleading.

O well, i will still have a hell of a time tonight listening to some fine music, albeit not the live show I expected; just needed to vent a little.

Jamaica Mistaka playing now; plenty of LandSharks and Rum in the house... let the party begin.

Have a great night everyone.

Last year they didn't broadcast the Anguilla, Paris and Hawaii shows. Last month they didn't broadcast the Newport Folk Festival. The first time he played the Fillmore back in 2005 they didn't broadcast that one. It's not as if this is the first show that hasn't been on RM. And since we get them for free I'm not going to complain if they skip a show every now and then.

Hay, i'm not complaining, just venting a little. I would just like RM to mention that a particular show will not be advertised.

Like a said in my post, RM stated that they will broadcast every time that Jimmy takes the stage; well he happens to be on stage today/tonight (or maybe just stepped off stage by now). I just think that RM should change the wording in thier live broadcast advertisements so people know what the expect.

May seem a little trivial, but I like many out there have limited funds and plan some leisure time around Jimmy Buffetts schedule. today I took some time off work (unpaid) to spend a Friday afternoon transplanting myself to St. Somewhere Pairs France based on the advertisement that RM will broadcast anytime that Jimmy will take the stage.

Beleive me, I am not complaining; hell, I bought a new home theatre system that is takes Sirus radio just so I can listen to buffett shows.

I simply want them to show some respect for those of us who spend hard earned dollars on the music and lifestyle that Jimmy Buffett creates.

I have already contacted RM to try to have them actually list the shows that they are going to broadcast and not just a blanket statement;I will post if I get a response from them.

Fins Up everyone,
KT

It probably has to do with the technology needs to do it. To transport the people and equipment over to Paris to set it up I would imagine is costly.

I'd settle for someone leaving their cell phone on the table and calling RM. They can just patch the call through for 2 hours. 8)
