WOW! What a song.
The CD is one of his best - check out this link many good songs too. I have a great t-shirt from the 1994 concert - must find and wear tomorrow. I agree WOW - I thought Atlanta and John Prine songs were special but this took it to a new level. DOUBLE WOW!!!

I'll head to Best Buy on Monday. I've GOT to get that one.
And RINGO STARR & CARL WILSON both appear on that album? ANOTHER wow!

Yes.
I'd never heard it before and now I LOVE it and will try to find it on Monday at Best Buy or wherever.
Yes, you need to get that one! IMO it is the best album (released in 1994) since Full Moon Fever (that was in 1989)...

Tom is the only other person we so willingly travel to other states too see, other than Jimmy of course!
Hey Snake, we need more wine!

That would be nice.
I'll definately try to do it. (Or, most likely, have someone here do it for me). 8)

Well, that's it for a while.
Since I'm AT work, I guess I need to do a bit of work. 6:00 AM will be here before I know it.
Goodnight and thanks to all.

Wildflowers for Savannah sung by Jimmy Buffett
(Tom Petty)

Oh, God, it's always fun I'll tell ya. I'm a very, very lucky guy to be havin this job this long and I really thank you very much. I'm glad we have this much fun together in that crazy world out there.

And uh, you know the great thing about it is, i can just do sh** anytime I want to up here...so (laughs)

I was driving..I had a hippy experience the other day, I had a flashback. I went to Bolinas, California surfing the other day, and I was coming back with my daughter driving down the PCH and this song came on the radio, and the sun was going down, there were humpback whales jumping in the water, and my daughter and I were sharing an experience there and that's all I'm gonna say about that.

And uh, but this song was on the radio, and uh, I just said hell I'm gonna do this song tonight. It's always been one of my favorites...so, by a boy from Gainesville, Florida...Mr Tom Petty...yeah yeah

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat on the sea
Sail away, kill off all the hours
You belong somewhere you feel free

Run away, find you a lover
Go away somewhere bright and new
I have seen no other
Who compares with you

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat out at sea
You belong with your love on your arm
You belong somewhere you feel free

Run away, go find a lover
Run away, let your heart be your guide
You deserve the deepest cover
You belong in your home by and by

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong somewhere close to me
Far away from your troubles and worries
You belong somewhere you feel free
You belong somewhere you feel free

I thought we freed you up a little tonight...our pleasure.
You belong right here...thank you everybody.

Aloha, all. You're all good folks - never been on a message board this long without things getting nasty and bitter. MAHALO.

Oh wow ...it is one of the "FUN GUYS", How's it going Jack?
Tough question. Plus side, it's now my birthday, minus side, it's now my birthday (i.e. I'm older), super minus side, I LOVE the song wildflowers, would never ever ever exepct Jimmy to play it and I MISSED IT to watch the stupid end of the baseball game.
Well first of all Happy Birthday, our Phriend!!!

Birthdays are good and they beat the alternatives...most of the time. As for being older.....you are so young, don't even go there!

The great thing is that you will be able either download a copy or get a copy of the show from someone!!! Then you will have a copy of Jimmy singing it, forever!

Have a great day and a even better year!

Happy Birthday Jack!
