Upon further consideration, I believe Critterville Cove will be a futuristic place where all the actual labor will be done by robots (wearing coconut bras and grass skirts). That will free all of us to while away our days wandering along the beach, lounging in our hula-hula hammocks and lubricating our livers.

I can be the town taxi driver. I'll even supply my own taxi...

Slogan: "Critterville Cove Taxi Co. - Don't drink and drive. Call us. Oh and don't hurl in the taxi..."

I just bought the empty lot beside SurfPirate's beachfront Surf shop for my dive shop. "The Nautical Wheeler" will be right down the beach in the marina.
As the Planning Comittee, we should have area maps made that highlight all the area businesses and attractions.

I anticipate that it will always be "small town",
but we really do need a central meeting place to discuss the town's business.

This is the place.

We've had many people (and Critters) stepping up and declaring that they will
open businesses and/or handle various jobs and services in our town,
among the discussions elsewhere I have heard talk of:

Brewmaster (aeroparrot)
Postman and Director of Dumbassity (alphabits)
Bartender at the Tiki Bar (CaptainP)
Scuba and Dive Shop (C-Dawg)
Conch Shell Blower and Gardener (conched)
Flamingo Rancher (Conolulu)
Parrothead BBQ and Golf Course (Joetown Parrothead)
Head of Legal Affairs (LIPH)
Accountant and Freelance Photographer (MammaBear)
Tropical Jewelry Sales (nutmeg)
Bail Bond Agent and Biker Chick (pbans)
Critterville Cove EMS (PerfectPartner)
CrittervilleNews.com (phjim)
CNWS TV Weathergirl and Hurricane Hunter (pojo)
Tisane Tea and Coffee Bar (popcornjack)
Cigar Shop (RinglingRingling)
Coffee Shop (SchoolGirlHeart)
Boobie Inspector (SharkOnLand)
Critterville Cove Winery (SMLCHNG)
a fixture on a barstool (Snowparrot)
Nurse (STL PARROTHEAD)
Local Law Enforcement and Naughty Lessons (sunseeker)
Surf Shop and Surf Lessons (surfpirate)
Local Law Enforcement and Naughty Lessons (txaggirl91)
The Conch Shell Amphitheatre on the Water (wheatsailor)

And I'm sure I've missed a few.
Plus we've had discussions about the town's possible college and high school teams
(The Fighting Manatees? nah ... how about the Fighting Blue Footed Boobies).

Their are limitless possibilites. 8)

Discuss.

Hmmmm Good name for a beer. I wonder if the Sea Dog beer will allow me to use some of their recipes.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Hey-remember those maps back in the 70's/80's that showed all the local areas of interest (they were sold as posters I think)...."someone" could make one for Critterville. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
