This is the second consecutive year I got into Ticketmaser before 10:01 and was offered "best available" in the third tier - Sec 14. How do they sell the first two tiers? Obviously they're not available in this sale.

I got on at 10:00.00 and could only get section 15. Threw them back, and again the same, I finally took them @10:04 thinking that it was my last chance. Went back yesterday (2/22) and there were still some in 15 (YY). I too don't understand, no lawn on 2nd tier, @ 10. What gives? I got tickets to JAX @ 10:01 and could only get way up in 316. Maybe we're going about it all wrong, should we walk up to a brick and mortar to get better seats. I also don't understand why, at least at Ford, there were only two price points, seem's to me that the third tier should have had a mid level ticket. $314.00 is a bit steep, the only reason I did it was that I ended up missing the JAX show and just got my anual bonus.

Please don't take this as 100% indisputable FACT, but I met someone a couple of years ago who is a ticket broker for a living. He was drunk, and bragged about how much money he and his two partners made. He had been a Pharmaceuticals Sales Rep, and he said that he got into the ticket thing on a part time basis, and within a couple of months, quit his Rep job and stayed with doing the tickets sales full time because he was making THREE TIMES as much money. He also laughed when the name Ticketmaster was brought up. He said that Ticketmaster was a "JOKE", and that he had ways of securing tickets for any show before they even went on sale, and that Ticketmaster was the reason he was able to do it. I tried like heck to get more info from him, but he sort of clammed up. The person who's party I met him at said that she would often give this guy her credit card info, and that he would use it to buy tickets. Then, when her bill came in, he would pay the bill right away plus give her a couple of $100 buks, and would often hook her up with free tickets. A year or so later, she called me and said she had last minute tickets to Pearl Jam that this same guy had just given her. She asked me to go, and I kid you not, we were FRONT ROW, just a hair off center, at Hershey Stadium. The moral of the story, no matter which way you cut it, TICKETMASTER SUCKS for anyone who is not a ticket broker!

Ticketbastard plays games with the tix. I got tickets for Pittsburgh, The best I could do for 6 seats at 10 sharp on Friday was Section 8 Row Z, not under the roof. I checked yesterday and entire Rows T & U (under the roof) were available! That's a load of crap!!

I got on TM at 10 and got ok seats, but wasn't willing to pay that much for just "ok" seats. Gave them up, got worse ones, gave them up and got even worse ones (not that I was expecting anything else). Then didn't get anything available (even lawn) a couple of times. Then got AMAZING seats around 10:06. There were still seats available at 10:20, which I thought was really weird, but I don't think they talked up this show very much.

We have seen him in Tampa 4 times before and can I say it has been a nightmare each time. We always had one person at home on the computer and on the phone and one in line at TM. For the last 2 years the person working at TM decided to leave at 9:56 to go get coffee!!!!!! We always ended up getting our tickets online at TM, regardless of how early we were at TM. This year we said F- TM outlets and had three of us sitting at home with 3 different computers, with multiple browsers open. The best tickets we found were at about 10:06, and they were orchestra seats! Woohoo! We've always been in section 9 or close 3rd level. What we have found is that even though TM kicks you out, (We had 6 seats in 2 different orchestra sections at the same time and could only purchase 3), a few minutes after 10 shows the best seats. My theory: the good seats go out at 10, but with technology and people taking to long to decide, the hold on those seats are released after a few minutes and then they are available again. I am not complaining this year, never been in orchestra seating, would love to each year, but dont see how it is possible unless you are or know a broker. I guess its just the luck of the draw?

You need to request where you want. For two years I requested "best avialable" at Frisco and was place at the 40 yard line both times. Then I discovered you need to request floor. This year I got row 13 in Frisco. Last year in Vegas when I requested floor it was so bar back I had to toss my offer back and select best available. It is all a crap shoot and I think the venues may have some say but unless you work for a venue or TM one will never know.
