I have tickets for the Jimmy Buffett Las Vegas Show in OCT I think? I called ticketmaster on Mon when the tickets went on sale. I did the automated phone, got to the point were you give your CC number and the phone went dead. So I redial and wait 15 min and ask for customer service, they could not find my info.I give her my info again I did get the tickets I wanted I think, I have a Reservation number, but my Credit Card has not been charged yet, is this normal?? Also I ordered the tickets to be sent 2 day air ups, so far no tickets.. Is it time for me to call ticketmaster again and check on my order?? THANKS.

Yes it is time to call....and this time ask for a tracking number....and track the shipment...if it hasn't been done....better buy some tickets before they're all gone......

Hold off on MGM grand tickets, if you have not purchased them already..... There is a reason you cannot find floor A B or C seats ANYHWERE........

My casino host at MGM, said that they are unsure of several things.....

And do not buy non refundable plane tickets , whatever you do......

I mean you can find a few tickets, for ABC on secondary markets, and even get a face value section 10 , row H on ticketmaster as i type....

But , IDK Caveat Emptor... I would hold off.. just sayin.......

I do not understand either, please explain what you mean in English!! Do not get us worried as we have flights and accommodation all booked and we just cannot cancel. Last year we did the same before we got hold of the tickets and the shows were cancelled. This year we have got tickets first. Just do not want to be let down again. Is it something to do with the MGM?

I just read this and I had to laugh. Somebody is not sure of something, that's for sure! Maybe MGM doesn't know how many tix they want to dole out to whales. Maybe the casino host doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Maybe he doesn't want to tell his big spender he can't get him a good seat. Maybe there are large blocks reserved for VIPs. Maybe the tix aren't available because they have been sold. Single tickets are still for sale as of today. The concert is posted on the venue's website. It's listed on every Vegas events website. I know for a fact there is a will call list for JB's guests. So it would really be nice if people didn't post vague and alarming statements and then fall off the planet.

Ok per pm request, I work with a casino host. And I was unable to get anything in the first few rows, which is where i buy tickets. She told me at the time that plans were not even finalized, hence they were holding back promising VIPs tickets on the floor. Clearly she is a moron, and was making a lame excuse to keep me from getting ,ore agitated. Even the MGM grand garden box office told me that. Anyhow, the show is fine now , i hope cause I bought tickets . Staying at treasure island, and will see everyone there. Oh , casino hostess is gone. I'm sticking with the old fashioned way... Bargaining endlessly on eBay.

Oh, one last note,

I was genuinly concerned, Im not trying to be cute, I had lost a pile of money on non refundable flights/ hotels on cancelled shows last year, and until my ass is in the seat, I am always going to err on the side of caution. Last years mistakes will never happen twice. Airtran does not give back money on prepaid flights. I jumped the second I saw the tour dates, esp Orlando in November, and got cindered ......... And to kick my ass further, I promised my wife her first front row experience. , LOL ...

btw the 925 from akron to orlando is a great value at $ 109 .

Thank you for clarifying. Lots of people very leery this year, just like you. We all bought tix and thought we were good, then had some deja vu of the bad sort.
