I have been to a number of concerts and the sound has allways been really good, so you do your first concert in London and spend the first three songs doing a sound check, go figure. Any way after the third song and they had the sound worked out the set went something like this.

piece of work (can't remember the title)
stars on the water
CILCIA
Come Monday
SOASOAS
Honkey Tonkin
Manana
Get Drunk and Screw
Cheeseburger in Paradise
5 o'clock somewhere
Can' read my writing (not the name)
Brown eyed girl
To much to drink about
Grapefruit juicy fruit
Last mango in paris
Surfing in a hurricane
Volcano
Southern Cross
Pirate looks at Forty
one particular harbour
margaritaville
fins
don't know
We are the people (including "shakin a baby")
Yellow submarine (didn't like it this time either)
He went to paris (just Jimmy)

But I had been drinking!

Looks like Brenda just beat me

Thank you so much, he came from London, for posting the London setlist with your comments. It's never too late...we always love the comments made by folks who get to hear/see the shows.

Thanks to Brenda and phjim for helping us share in the concert "experience" by posting the setlist!!

Jim, as always, you're the best!

Gotta say that the youtube video of A Pirate Looks At Forty was a most unique performance by Jimmy. I can't wait for more to be uploaded!

Jimmy is truly a master at getting the crowd response!!!

I just wanted to add this comment by UKDeb from another thread, so it would be here under the setlist stuff!! :) :)
UKDeb wrote:Hey there, fellow Parrotheads :D . I'm Deb from the UK (not just a clever username  ) and I was lucky enough to experience my first Jimmy concert last night. For those of you who don't know, the Shepherd's Bush Empire is a tiny venue - an old-fashioned theatre with a capacity of 2000 - so a pretty special place to see anyone, let alone a legend who normally plays to audiences in the tens of thousands.

We arrived at around 2pm yesterday afternoon with the intention of being first in line. There were half a dozen hardcore Parrotheads already there (from Oklahoma City and Miami, from memory). They were in line for the ground floor standing area, but knowing the venue, we'd booked for the lower circle and were first in line for the separate entrance to the upper levels. All the ticketing for this venue is unreserved, albeit there are seats in the upper levels. To either side of the auditorium on the lower level are two small rows of seats. We wanted to be in the front row, closest to the stage (those seats are very close to the stage). The doors opened promptly at 7pm and we literally ran up those stairs. Imagine our shock when we found that both rows on either side, plus the front row at the rear all had "reserved" signs on them. To say we were devastated would be an understatement! The security staff told us they'd been reserved for VIP guests of the band. WHAT?! They apologised, saying it was extremely unusual at this venue. When the show started, hardly any of them had been taken, but people did start to trickle in and fill them during the first half hour. From a comment Jimmy made, it seems they were employees of the recording studio in London which he and Mac have used for many years (and where some elements of the new album are currently being recorded). The worst of it is, most of them didn't seem to "get it" at all. They could at least have had the decency to look as though they were having a good time!

Anyway, we weren't going to let that spoil our first ever Jimmy gig and we did have a fantastic view from our second row seats at the rear of the circle. Jimmy and the Coral Reefers came on stage on the stroke of 8:15 (I hate it when bands make you wait) and played the most amazing 2 1/2 hour set (actually, it was probably closer to 2 hours, 15, but that doesn't roll off the tongue so easily  ). And guess what? I caught one of the signed flip-flops which Jimmy threw into the audience at the end of the show, so I guess we weren't meant to be in those side seats, after all. :P

Can I upload photos and/or video here? Anyone have any questions?
And another one by Captain Tony!
Captain Tony wrote:what a great night, my 11 year old boy had a blast, he shook Jimmys hand twice, and Jimmy gave him one of his wrist bands, also signed his blow up shark, he also got a drum stick and Jimmys set list and a guitar pic... :D Oh yeah, i got to shake Jimmys hand too :D

To say it was one h*ll of a show would be an understatement - the venue really worked and the crowd was amazing!!

Was too busy enjoying myself to get many photo's but here are a few that were worth posting:

Found Margaritaville in London on youtube

Does anyone know which band members were there? Along with Jimmy, I see Utley, Nadirah, Jim, Mac, Will Kimbrough, looks like Roger on drums, and you can hear Robert on pans. I assume Peter was there since he called Jim during the London Hotel Concert and asked him to go out to dinner and Ralph was with Jim and Nadirah for the Hotel Concert. :)

EDIT! I was confused about the Hotel Concert...it was in Boston not London!
So I guess Tina, Ralph and John Lovell were not there.

My & my partner's first ever JB gig... and what a gig. Parrotheads in colourful plumage from all over the UK and beyond. In fact, the US snowbirds seemed to be somewhat tastefully underdressed for the occasion. Who knew?

Loved new songs (Surfin' in a Hurricane in particular) and dancing was indeed in evidence.

Only thing that gutted me... after drinking with fellow Parrotheads at the bar next door - and confusing/amusing the hell out of a number of regular drinkers - we ambled back to our hotel nearby, and found Jimmy had beaten us back there, had signed autographs and greeted phans at the bar before turning in early for the night. (Well, we did stay at the "K. West"... should have expected it really).

Sincere thanks and SW's to BBC Radio 2's Sarah Kennedy for alerting us to the gig on Monday morning.

Great find! That's a really close-up video. I added the youtube link to Margaritaville above.

I also found 4 parts of the London show for the songs:
SummerZcool and CILCIA on Part 1 above
Manana and It's Five O'Clock Somewhere on Part 2 above
Werewolves of London and Yellow Submarine on Part 3 above
He Went To Paris

Links added!
