Cruise on, phriends, especially all who go back to work or school tomorrow . . .
Have a great time all headed for Jones Beach . . .
Thanks for the setlists and comment, Farside Cobb PH, gingerbreadman, and The Five O'Clock parrot, who got the party started

(g'man, if there was no Glory Days in the heart of Bruce country, maybe it's retired - not that I hated it myself - really, I didn't - but I know most setlisters would be OK if it disappeared :-? )

Love retirement! No more back to schools!

Now, Ellen, I'm off to read Conroy for half the night. Hmmmmmmmm, let me know what you think after you read it. hmmmm :::sigh:::

I am 200 pages into it-not sure yet. A close friend complained the first 150 pages and told me last night that she finished it and absolutely loved it.

I'll catch up with some of you here on Saturday. Wednesday is my annual talk at my alma mater--speaking to 400 freshman and transfers for (I think) the 13th straight year.

Hi All, I thought it was good show, Jimmy seemed to having a blast up there. Maybe the sound was better than previous years? We were in section 307, the one spot where the AC wasn't working. I doubt we'll be on any video from our seats.
Missed scarlet begonias, didn't miss glory days. (Jimmy can do glory days if Bruce made a surprise appearance)

Next stop Bristow on Sept 5 !

(Smithereens Aug 28 at the AC Hilton as well)

The AC wasn't working on the floor, either. :D

The energy was so great at the show that I wasn't paying all that much attention to the set list. More like just enjoying it as the show went along.

Why Yellow Submarine? I would rather hear Boat Drinks or Pencil Mustache.
The concert was great, some air conditioning or fans would be a good idea.
