Summer stunk around here this year.....
I've sort of liked it. But it will be a chilly one up at Alpine tonight. And I am sure there is lots of mud from all the rain of the past couple of days.

so someone save me a nice, dry seat, and pour me a drink cuz I am ready for a concert!
Hey El, how is your brother faring? They finally shut down JPL last night, so you know this thing is a monster. Tankers and skycranes are having a tough time flying, can't get low enough due to the incredibly thick smoke plume. :-?
kathy-haven't heard from him, so I will have to check in with him though he had a trip to Sweden that he might still be on.
Let me know what you hear. I can't believe how this thing is moving, I'm watching it change before my eyes. It is hauling east now, as well as west....over 7000 acres now. I could finally see a tanker and a helicopter but it didn't look like they were able to drop. I think they're concentrating on JPL and Mt Wilson, where all the communication towers for the southland are.

Heard it may go down to the 30's tonight.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Hey setlisters!
Couldn't coordinate my Wisc trips this year for JB, but I did play golf at Alpine last week.
Just talked to friends in the lot, confirmed that the weather is not great and will not improve, but they have 7 dozen jell-o shots to keep them warm :)
On the corner of "walk" and "don't walk" somewhere on US 1.
He's just singing and ordering drinks.

This version of God's Own Drunk sounds like it has Mac on his resonator guitar.

Actually, one of the most beautiful views is the view of Washington from Robert E. Lee's house.

Hi, Victim & Micki!

How was Jones Beach? That sounded special to see the videos of Senator Kennedy sailing during Son Of A Son Of A Sailor.
