Looks like a half way decent show. Too bad you had to travel to the horrible land of France to see it.
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

how was the new song?
"I enjoy this life as a jester
Seems to keep me moving around
Like the wind that blows, tides that flow
I have my ups and downs"

Also confused. Was DHPH in balcony or was the flipflop in the balcony?

Sounds like a wonderful concert, you lucky parrots!

It was so funny. Jimmy said it was 'cool'. Duch Harbor and wife and Vashon were at one side of the balcony. DH had a few sheets like large flags with writing on. One said Come to the Bering Islands. One said he was 50. The best was when he had this fishing rod and lowered this to the stage in front of Jimmy and it said Fishing for with a drawing of flip flops and then it said SVP. Jimmy attached one of his flip flops to the fishing line and DH pulled the line up. You had to be there to see this. The show was very good but thought it was better at Shepherds Bush, London. Preferred the New Morning Venue than La Cigale. Regarding his new song from his new CD - maybe it will be better heard a few times - but not my cup of tea!!

O what a night,
late September
Down in gay Paris
Jimmy played
It was the place to be
What a concert, what a night

Thanks Jimmy, thanks band, thanks parrotheads. This truly was a night to remember. In my "slightly blurry" memory the best of the European concerts of the last few years. Hopefully he'll be back next year.
Pls excuse my Eurotrash accent

I'm in the process of uploading a video clip of the fishing scene on YouTube. I'd post a link but it's not done yet. Tried to upload it on the train from Paris earlier today but it kept timing out.
Search for Dutch Harbor Flip Flop and you should find it. Of course, I should post a link here later.

[edit] Done! But as of 10:08 PM CEST it's still processing...

That video is wonderful - thanks so much for putting it on You tube. Dutch - the show was fantastic as everyone of Jimmy's shows are. Just thank you for everything you do. You just made this show extra fun with the flip flop and you and wifey poo make such an effort for everyone to really enjoy themselves. If you are still in Paris with that lovely weather have a great time. Safe journey home everyone.
