Who was JB's 1st coral reefer guitarist?

How much do you know about Jimmy? There's probably something you don't know.

Just finished listening to his Dallas Concert fro this year and learned something new. Jimmy said his 1st guitarist was john hiatt. Ive never heard that before. He said it before he played window on the world that john wrote.

he's been mentioning that at the last couple concerts too. Someone remind us which song John wrote that he's been perfomring lately? I'm not going to take a guess at it....I've been off all day.

Another song that's been coming out lately from Hiatt is "Blue Telescope." I think it was on the East Hampton show, and possibly a few concerts. At one point he talked about how they tried to get it on an album a few times, but it didn't work out. That may be the one you're thinking of.

I'd like to know how someone plays beer cans. I'd like to take up learning that one.

The original CRB guitarist was Roger Bartlett NOT Tim Krekel.

Jimmy and John Hiatt performed together before that but Hiatt was never a Reefer.

Here is the full lineup of the ORIGINAL CRB (in no particular order):

Captain-Jimmy Buffett
Harp-Greg "Fingers" Taylor
Bass-Harry Daily
Guitar -Roger Bartlett
Drums-Philip Fajardo

The first tour with the original members was summer of 1975.

The true original CRB band was just Jimmy and Roger. According to Roger it was just "two acoustic guitars and vocals" then later Jimmy added the others.
