06/25/2004 - New York City (The Today Show)

Post by Mr Play »

I thought I'd start a thread to document the set list for the Today Show performance. Hopefully it will also give BNers a place to post while watching the show from home or at work.

1. Hey Good Lookin'
2. Coast of Carolina

3. We are the People
4. Cheeseburger in Paradise
5. Jolly Mon

(Jolly Mon was the third song played if you were there "live." It was not aired until later in the broadcast for the folks watching at home.)
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Hello FourPlay - In anticipation of tomorrow's show I got out my tape from last year and had a great time re-living it. It should be great! Unfortunately I will have to rely on tape to enjoy the experience after I get home from work tomorrow. But what a treat to look forward to!

I just changed departments at work and my new boss has his staff meetings at 8:30 Friday mornings. I can take my portable TV/VCR to work and watch it in my office right after the meeting.

OR I could make up some BS story about one of the boys being sick and my wife being out of town, but that just doesn't seem right. I think I'll wait till in the morning to decide.

HELP!!! I can't find this out anywhere. Does Today start at 7 in the Central Time Zone? The official site just says 7 Eastern but the Chicago site (NBC5) also said 7 Central. I usually don't watch Today so I don't know.

OK First sighting of Jimmy on Today show (singing to himself in the Green Room) They (Matt and Katie) were talking so I missed what he was singing..

Thank God I'm retired now and don't need to take the morning off...

I am hoping for Back to the Island, but I think we will hear Fins and Margaritaville too. Do they show everything he sings?
