Rarest song you've heard Jimmy perform?
I would have to say:
In My Life (Beatles), performed 9/29/01 Chicago
Paradise (John Prine), 6/26/02 Cincy
As far as Buffett originals go:
Coast of Marsielle was a pleasure to hear in Nashville '03
If It All Falls Down in Cincy '00
What are some of the more obscure Buffett songs you have heard performed live?[/i][/b]

Its midnight and I'm not Famous Yet - Vegas Fall '03
Hotel Room (Acoustic with Mac) - same show...
Hotel Room is on the live album when Jimmy sounded surprised that some of us in the crowd new the words, after the first verse he said 'you people know what to do when you come to these concerts' and the place went nuts...good times....

Rare Songs
Yeah jiggs I heard "Its Midnight and I'm Not Famous Yet" back in 1996 in Cincy on the Banana Wind Tour.....I looked around and everyone was kind of like, hmmmmmm..what the heck is this???
But I knew...and I just shook my head in wonder, how on Earth did Jimmy come up with the idea to play this?? I love the song now!

Re: Rare Songs
I've always loved it since I'm a big fan of vegas and playing Craps in general so hearing it out there was great...catch the elevator from the penthouse suite down to the casino...classic stuff...nothing can stop my 32 hop or my $10 yo yo yo...OldFriendTheSquid wrote:Yeah jiggs I heard "Its Midnight and I'm Not Famous Yet" back in 1996 in Cincy on the Banana Wind Tour.....I looked around and everyone was kind of like, hmmmmmm..what the heck is this???

At the cast party after opening night of DSTC , Jimmy was doing a mini-set with some of the guys in the play . .
He did a few songs, like Bob Marley , etc. . but then gave a really neat rendition of " Up on the Roof " . . .
He might have missed a few of the high notes, but so what . . . .just to hear Jimmy sing " off the record " is fun . . . .
that night we saw him first with a glass of wine, then a Corona, then a martini and cigar . . and who knows after that . .! ! He was having a ball ! !
btw. . that is where our avatar was taken , and the night the Balcony Girls were born . .
