There goes the mint crop!
I have yet to try it, but always think of you when I see or hear reference to it! (I'm hoping to indulge in my 1st on Saturday.)
De-yummy! The formula has to be just right or it's a genuine disaster. Too much sugar and you're comatose. Too much lime and you're puckering. Too much mint and you're reaching for the dental floss. Too much club soda and you're gagging. It's ugly, really, unless you are lucky enough to have someone with a steady hand and a lot of experience!!!
I can't believe I just typed that.

I went to a Cuban restaurant and asked the bartender for a margarita, "mojito?" he replied. I said, no - a margarita. He again replied "mojito?". I got the impression that he was not going to let me get away with a margarita. He then proceeded to make an awesome mojito. Four mojitos later (including a mango mojito) I was hooked!
I agree they need to be made perfectly. Anyone have the perfect recipe?

I also share in Angel Penny and Terri's opinions. And it's definitely mo-hee-toe.big hat carmen wrote:AS usual the QUeen is correctSMLCHNG wrote:mo-hee-toe...
But I don't care for them. Like all the ingredients - just not together.

Re: How do you pronounce
Mojito (pronounced mo-HEE-toe) is a traditional Cuban cocktail which became quite popular in the United States during the late 1890s.Tiki Bar wrote:Mojito?
