Any east coasters have 5 Guys nearby?
We stumbled across the new first Jacksonville location of this burger joint
this afternoon. Besides pretty good burgers, and GREAT fries, I discovered
Radio Margaritaville playing in the echo-y dining space. What really surprised
me was that Why Don't We Get Drunk... was the first tune I recognized.
And in the "Voted best burger for families -July ‘00 - Washington Families Magazine"eatery!
I was just wondering, has anyone else eaten at a place that plays RM?
And whether all the 5 Guys Burgers & Fries locations do this?

yes they're from DC
PEANUTS! (they serve bulk peanuts in the shell, where they are allowed that is.) I've been going there for years... they are just now expanding,, tremendously.

Five Guy's has been voted "Best Burgers" for the past five years in Washingtonian Magazine, were rated number one "Bang for the Buck" in Zagat Survey and The Washington Post calls them "the Willy Wonkas of burgercraft." In addition, since expanding outside of the DC Metro area, Five Guys has won the Annapolis Magazine's reader poll for Best Fries, Richmond City Magazine's reader's choice for Best Burger and the Fredericksburg Star's Simply the Best Award for Best Burger.

Never heard of 5 Guys, but to answer your other question -- I ate at Cafe Caribu (sp?) in Fernandina Beach on my birthday last February, just after chatting with our BN'er Prtthd119 during her ciggy break, and they were playing RM. It was cool.Desdamona wrote:I was just wondering, has anyone else eaten at a place that plays RM?

. .I really thought the title of this thread meant Des was looking for some help with moving . . ! !
as well, but it must be bigger than that if we both have one.
And I have no immediate plans to move. Still waiting to splash the boat...
I wasn't really trying to promote 5 Guys, but everyone seems to be
speaking well of them, so I guess I'll have to make another visit some
time. All I can say is that they definitely do not serve Weight Watchers
or health-type food! Can you say "grease soaked brown bag", kiddies?
