I'd suppose it's anyone who gets what they're looking for out of the Buffett experience.
The rub for many is as Jimmy's such a master, the sheer breadth of what people are looking for brings together an amazingly diverse crowd that some don't "get" what others are doing there....
Whereas I don't "get" the rude-drunk-puking-on-the-lawn/bus routine, someone else may think I'm warped for singing along to songs beyond SYKBH....
As long as I can find ways to enjoy my Buffett experiences, I'll be there, here and wherever else I can be to share in the magic.

How about:
Did you ever listen to JB before Parrotheads were named? YES
Did you go to live shows before Parrotheads were named? YES
Did you consider yourself a fan? YES
Do you consider yourself a Parrothead? NO
Is a Parrothead a fan? YES obviously
Is a fan a Parrothead? Only if they want to be
Do you still go see JB live? Hardly ever - once this decade, Twentyhundreds
Did you see JB every year? USED to.
Why did you stop seeing JB on tour? Because of obnoxious drunk Parrotheads - notice I didn't say ALL Parrotheads - , high ticket prices and the same ol' SJPTD with the occasional obscure great tunes played.

PH Devotional
From the Book of Buffett, orthodox edition
In a letter to the congregation of his phollowers in Margaritaville at the time of the first MOTM census, it was written:
Jimmy 3:16 For God so loved the world that He (the Head Parrot) sent his only son of a son of a sailor to the lower lattitudes so that we may phollow him and have everlasting liph and happiness!!!
