Since we're well past the point of filling up the Green lots (and maybe the Red as well), is there any thought of distributing some of the Porta-Potties, margarita machines and grills to one or two satellite locations vice having them all near the pavilion? It'd be nice if we could cut down the amount of valuable tailgating time we spend in lines!
No, all of the community tailgate contributions will be kept together at the picnic shelters. If the lots are full when you get there you can drop your stuff off at the sidewalk, park your car in a more remote lot, and walk back to the tailgate.

DAily Musical interlude for 4/25/2007!

Post by parrottheadbaby »

Ok, After last nights drenching I think its only proper to have the song of the day be
Barefoot Children in the Rain

SCRATCH MY BACK WITH A LIGHTNING BOLT
THUNDER ROLLS LIKE A BASS DRUM NOTE
THE SOUND OF THE WEATHER IS HEAVEN'S RAG TIME BAND

WE ALL FELL DOWN FORM THE MILKY WAY
HANGING' ROUND HERE 'TILL JUDGMENT DAY
HEAVEN ONLY KNOWS WHO'S IN COMMAND

Chorus
BAREFOOT CHILDREN IN THE RAIN
GOT NO NEED TO EXPLAIN
WE'D BE SWINGING ON A BALL AND CHAIN
IT'S ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD BY THOSE WHO PLAY THE GAME
BAREFOOT CHILDREN IN THE RAIN

SHOW ME YOURS AND I'LL SHOW YOU MINE
TAKE ME BACK TO DAYS FULL WITH MONKEY SHINE'S
BOUNCING ON A BUBBLE FULL OF TROUBLE IN THE SUMMER SUN

KEEP YOUR RAFT FROM THE RIVERBOAT
FICTION OVER FACT ALWAYS HAS MY VOTE
AND WRINKLES ONLY GO WHERE THE SMILES HAVE BEEN

Chorus
BAREFOOT CHILDREN IN THE RAIN
GOT NO NEED TO EXPLAIN
WE'D BE SWINGING ON A BALL AND CHAIN
IT'S ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD BY THOSE WHO PLAY THE GAME
BAREFOOT CHILDREN IN THE RAIN
LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
BAREFOOT CHILDREN IN THE RAIN

SCRATCH MY BACK WITH A LIGHTNING BOLT
THUNDER ROLLS LIKE A BASS DRUM NOTE
THE SOUND OF THE WEATHER IS HEAVEN'S RAG TIME BAND

THE SKY TURNS BLUE AND THE SUN APPEARS
BUT THE QUESTION'S STILL "WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE?"
I DON'T THINK THE ANSWER'S CLOSE AT HAND

Chorus
BAREFOOT CHILDREN IN THE RAIN
GOT NO NEED TO EXPLAIN
WE'D BE SWINGING ON A BALL AND CHAIN
IT'S ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD BY THOSE WHO PLAY THE GAME
BAREFOOT CHILDREN IN THE RAIN
IN THE RAIN

Thank you , thank you very much!!!

I'm not going to Dallas, but I sure hope whoever IS going has nice weather when they get there. It didn't look to promising on the weather channel this morning.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

I guess my question is, if we come in an rv and it has a potty in it, does that mean we can not park in the green lot at all?

I thought we were able to park in the blue lot on Friday night and transfer to the green lot Saturday morning.

Whats the plan?

I'd LOVE to be going, but for the forseeable future it'll just be Alpine and Chicago.
