I agree with WDWGDAS and OPH and I'll bravely be the first to say that I could do without Come Monday, at least for a year or two.

I could do without Cheeseburger, BEG and WDWGDAS. I do like the Halloween in Tijuana intros but don't care for the rest of the song.

Can't not like fins. Crowd participation songs are great. seeing 20k+ fins up is visually stunning. I also enjoy Southern Cross. I don't know why.

THe mother ship. The genesis of the Buffett mystique. Launching pad for a million parties. The song that kicked off a thousand summers.

I hate hearing it in concert.

HATE the "SALT SALT SALT" chant.

Hate the over-the-top, WAAAAAY too orchestrated party beat to the song.

The original has always appealed to me because of the laid back groove. The slight tinge of melancholy. The slow island beat, taking me away to a lazy end of summer day on a beach to be named later. None of which show up in concert.

Give me Jimmy with an acoustic, Robert with the pans, and a cold rum-based beverage and I'm a happy man.

Otherwise, I'll suffer until OPH starts up!!!!

Margaritaville for sure. Let it die Jimmy!!! The lost verse and all . . .

See ? THis is what makes the world go around. Some of the songs ya'll DON'T like, are my favorites. And probably vicey-versa !

I like parts of songs where he mentions places like "sweet Boston cutie" or maybe she came from the Vineyard . . . haven't got a clue" but for the most part I am not a fan of the regular songs . . . although I am a hypocrite because I do like SOASOAS and Lats and Atts . . . but I really don't like Margaritaville and I never really did.

Dare I say I could do without Come Monday as well . . . eek!

Margaritaville and Cheeseburger - I could take or leave. They were our entry level drugs to this new madness.

I love Southern Cross always have. I prefer the rarities and gems of the Buffett collection - Stars on the Water, 12 Volt Man, Peanut Butter Conspiracy, Wino and I know. I wish I could hear these more live.

He could play my 25 least-favorite songs and I'd have a good time. There's plenty I'd rather not hear, but I'm not making the setlist. If I don't like it, there's always the beer line and/or bathroom. But I am glad he's been skipping WDWGDAS lately.

Whoever said the set list never changes much is smoking something...
I went to Dallas and Houston this year... Not the same show... Atlanta was not either (between those dates).

Dallas was not the same set list as last year either.

8 Standards are on the menu each show... For the newbies to the phlock...

3 to 4 for local flavor... last year in Dallas, Migration, this year East TX women as an example (and a couple more)... To touch base with the locals and say "hey, I know my friends". Every place is different...

4 Covers, They do change... though some stay as they should as anthems of sorts.

3 to 4 WOW, that was an oldie for the diehards... 'tonight I just need my guitar'... the balad of spyder john ... good examples so far this year...

3 to 5 from the new album.... and these change some at every show...

And thank God Jimmy talks to us... He knows his croud...

Thats a formula for a concert of a lifetime.... I hope to see a great many more.

I strongly dislike any song where Jimmy feels the need to SHOUT the lyrics for emphasis (ran into a CHUM-M-M with a bottle of RUM-M-M-M).

I have noticed WDWGDAS hasn't been making the setlist and that he hasn't been SHOUTING the lyrics this tour. Perhaps he does read BN

Heck, even J.D. Spradling hasn't given me much to b**** about the past couple of weeks...

I don't care for WDWGDAS at all. I always have to fast forward past it while my children are in the car!

same here with margaritaville and the "salt, salt, salt" part. my daughter feels the same way. funny thing is at the concert when jimmy plays m'ville she will scream to me "i hate this part", but does it any way to participate and comes away laughing after. so you may hate it but still gotta love it live because you become part of the concert.

For me the "salt salt salt" part of M'ville live reminds me of something that you would hear at a college town bar when it is played by a cover band. When I was at Auburn, it seemed like every time a band at a bar played "You Never Even Call Me By My Name" you could count on hearing "And I'll hang around as long as you will let me (let me, let me, let me).

I think the one song that really sticks out to me as being a million times better on an album than live is Trying to Reason With Hurricane Season. I think between changing where he stumbles to every time, and Nadira singing about the wind blowing harder now, it just loses some bit of the mystique to me.

Don't get me wrong, Nadira has a great voice (when she isn't trying to do the southern gospel sound and prove how great her vocal range is) but I think that the song would be better without her having a featured lead vocal.

Well, I've only been fortunate enough to go to one Jimmy Buffett show in my life(well, two if you count when my Mom was pregnant with me). So I'm certainly not tired of hearing anything live. I was at the Columbia, SC show in 2003(i think was the year) it was the Far Side of the World tour. I've got alot of concerts on cd though. I have to say, I don't really like Jolly Mon live, not sure why.

I do have a question for everyone. How is Piece of Work live? I love the song on the album but does it still work live?

I've seen Piece of Work live a few times. In '05, he sang it as the very first song of the concert at the concerts I went to.

It was good...but everything is good when it's first because you are just coming from the big tailgate party and REALLY excited to see Jimmy.

He could sing just about anything first and I would be really happy.
