33 1/3 or 16 RPM?

sure wasn't 45 or 78...
A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!

It has been a bit slow.

There's a BN guy who makes the nametags, but I know how, too... my homemade ones turn out pretty well... to be discussed...

You'll get an ophishul Maple Reefers lanyard and tag in the mail if I get your membership form soon...

You pholks have been busy on this thread! I just dropped by to mention that the tickets for the pre-party at Ontario Place are $20 if purchased on line but $25 at the gate!!! Nobody told us this but I just noticed it when going thru the purchase procedure. It doesn't mention it anywhere else.
Some other Q&A about the pre-party are on the Maple Reefers web site www.maplereefers.ca on the Message Board.

Also, it says on the Boat Bash web site that there are only 62 tickets left for the party cruise on Sept. 4th.

Looking forward to seeing many of you on the Boat Bash and at the Tailgate Party. I guess I will have to make up a name tag. But, if I don't, you shouldn't have trouble spotting me. I will be the one wearing a tropical shirt. LOL. Actually, I will probably be wearing the one seen in the picture to the left.

So, who's the short guy you're with in that picture?

When I was downstairs at the Today Show watching Martina McBride this morning there were 4 people standing behind me who did nothing but yap away all during her performance. They were from Toronto. I wanted to say "Be quiet, I'm trying to listen to the music, eh." Bunch of hosers.

Must have been a bunch of drunken nurses. I had the same problem at the Joe Walsh show last week. (Sincerest apologies to sober nurses everywhere.)

Anyway, Icerigger and his special someone will be there with parrots on. Hope it's half as good as '05

If yer adding special someones to the list, mine is Pete the Fin. We're sitting somewhere in the 300's with the rest of the Maple Reefers.

Why Pete the Fin? Peter's middle name is Finlay, after his grandfather Finlay who they used to call Fin. I thought it was soooo appropriate for a Parrothead - maybe Peter's gramps was the first one?

Linda

PS Snowparrot - your lanyard and tag will go in the mail this weekend! Maybe you will find your concert ticket before Canada Post delivers.

It looks like 50 BN PHs (counting friends, too) are planning to come. That's according to my list on Page 1. It's probably missing a few... help! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Well, if'n you want to count friends travelling together, you can make mine " Martyritaville +7" :D

Hmmm, I knew there was a reason 7 is my lucky number...

I can't believe this is so close - it was 2000 light years from home for so long. :D :D :D
