Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving)

A friend of mine recently told me to hit Disney on the day of and after Thanksgiving and it would not be very busy.
Turns out it's uber-busy those days.

We went to Disneyworld Magic Kingdom the day after Thanksgiving 2004 and it was one of the worst days of my life......except that I got to see the guy with the 200 Disney tattoos....it was BRUTALLY busy.

I had to go as my daughter was in the Christmas Parade...We could choose between Macy's Parade, or Disney....I wanted Macy's but figured Orlando was only 3 hours away...

My God I'll never make that mistake again...

I can't imaging getting up that early to head to the stores, I see that alot of fellow BN'ers agree too. After all that drinkin' and eating on Thursday the last thing I want to do is get up and shop.

I guess the main reason I do it is because it's nice to see there ARE other people who are as cheap as I am.

I can't believe a lot of stores are opening at 4 am. It seems like they are opening earlier every year. I imagine within a couple of years they'll be opening at 12 am on BF. Sheesshh..

Me too KK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stocked up on everything i would need thru the weekend! I am not going anywhere near one single store!

Unfortunately for me on my stops on my routeis at a mall. So unless they do not need me to stop by I'll have to brave mall traffic.

I have to go in to work tomorrow too, but fortunately for me, I will walk out of the utility room, into the garage, into my car, hit the button on my garage door opener, non-stop ride to work, into the parking garage, into the elevator to the 16th floor.....reverse that going home.

I truly hate shopping as it is...no way I'd torment myself, even for a really good deal.

Now....standing/waiting in line for hours and hours to see Bono up close and personal...I've been known to do that a time or .. more.

I don't usually but I'm going out very early before work tomorrow. Kmart and Sears having a nice deal on a cordless drill, I'm badly in need of a new one. Other than that I'm actually already done with my Xmas shopping

Probably don't want to know that. Knowing that last year I worked from Dec. 5th. to Dec. 23rd. with no days off I had to make sure to be done before December just in case I have a schedule like that again this year.

There is a outlet mall here in SC that opens up at midnight tonight.

We are only going to get our free snowglobe from JC Penneys.
