Sorry, didn't mean to impart any negative vibes!!! Was just saying it felt familiar to last year...I've seen JB 21 times in my life and am ITCHIN to make it 22-23-24 this summer...It was tough last year, the only shows within a state or two were almost all weeknight shows...

I'll take ANY date in Raleigh/Durham, and would be just fine and dandy with a weekend date in Charlotte too...

Anyone heard anything, rumors, chat...Haha someone just make something up to keep me going!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLLLLEEEEASSSE let one of these "rumored" concerts come to reality in NC. We didn't get even one concert last year and only one the year before. It's now been over two years and I'm in total withdrawl!!! I don't care if it's Raleigh, Charlotte, or Durham (they're all within a 2 hr. drive) I will be at one if not all of them!!!

We got tickets to the James Taylor concert in Charlotte - now if we could just have some JB dates life would be good in our boat!

Well, at this rate it looks like we are going to be snubbed again. I really dont know what the deal is... I heard from here that the venues are the ones that choose the act, so one day I emailed the Verizon amphitheater in Charlotte and they said they would "love" to have Jimmy there. So why not invite him???? Maybe he has something against them.... especially since Jimmy has decided to re-play in places where he DIDNT SELL OUT LAST YEAR while Charlotte sold out in just a couple hours in 2006.

I really don't think that we will be missed this year....He has played NC in Feb., April, May and July before ( that I can remember)....


He will give us a show this year..I can feel it..

The concert promoters for the venues are the ones who go after the acts! Of course Charlotte wants him back, but its up to Jimmy and his people on where they want to play! I am sure Charlotte is trying, just depends on what fits Jimmys schedule!

Only thing I dont get is why we have dates for July and Sept already but May and June there is nothing but two dates so far. I would think you would announce those dates first!
