Of course! 8)
us too. We should have a decent group, as long as everyone can get the days off.

Maybe all of us Buffalo-Cheektavegas-WS-OP -ians can catch up somehow.

While we wait for the worst-kept secret to be officially revealed, does anyone have any motel/hotel recommendations?
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after
Every now and then...

I like the Holiday Inn in Weirton WV.
We couldnt get anything there last year and ended up in Ohio, only another 10 minutes away and I didnt like it.

Downtown Pittsburgh is a great place to hang out, but about 45 minutes away from the Post Gazette. The Holiday inn Weirton is like 6 miles away.

I think there is also a residence inn next door, but they dont have an outdoor pool like the HI.

I would call soon though...... when I called they told me that they didnt have much availability for the night of the 22nd......... and it was about $150 for the night. 304-723-5522

Here's a tip for all you folks who are planning to make hotel reservations:

The Steel City Fins will be planning a pre-concert party the day before the concert. Usually this is held at a nearby motel. Those of you who've been to the pre-concert parties before know that it's a gathering that's not-to-be-missed. You might wish to consider booking your reservation where the party is - and there's usually a chartered shuttle bus from the motel to the concert venue!

President Missy should have more info once that elusive concert date is announced.

Ticket Sales

Post by terpforlife »

My source that told me that the show is on July 22 is now also telling me that tickets will go on sale on the 17th.... So cancel those St. Patty's Day plans if you had em!

On another note, I'm sick of all this waiting.... I have been checking margaritaville.com a dozen times a day lately!

We always stay at the Red Roof in Moon pretty close to the Holiday Inn, is there going to be a pre-party this year at the HI
A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory

Booze may not be the answer, but it helps you forget the question.

I cant take it anymore!!! Especially with another snowstorm
coming this weekend!!!

.......although, if I get snowed in I can practice drinking!!

The 8 to 15 inches of snow we're forecast here in northeast Ohio will REALLY put a damper on our Start of St. Patrick's Day celebrations!!!

i worked with Joyce at the Moon Holiday Inn last year after the HI was filled. She got me rooms at the Hampton, across the parking lot and had arranged for an extra bus to pick up all us "overflowers." at the Hampton. She's on my speed dial as soon as I get tickets.

The wife and I drove out to Pittsburgh last year and stayed at the HI and partied with the Steel City group. Good times for all!
