BN Critters Storylines YOU'D like to see ......

Post by surfpirate »

It's simple ........ YOU GUYS are writing this strip every day out here at BuffettNews.
All I am doing is shamelessly stealing your material and reformatting them into a 3 or 4 panel comic strip.
Okay, maybe I've got a few of my own ideas up my sleeve as well.
Keep those suggestions coming and hopefully sooner or later I'll find a way to get your ideas into the strip.

You can post your ideas here,
or PM them to me so that they are more of a surprise to others when they someday appear in the strip.
I've been around these boards since April 2001, but I don't necessarily know all of the many, many inside jokes and stories,
so be sure to give me the background and details I may need to work your ideas into the strip.
Image
BE PATIENT ....... it takes a while to pull these together into working storylines.
Some are one time laughs while others might take a week or two to play out.

Thanks! This is still fun for me.

Oh this is going to be good.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Hey, I'm new around here and so far I have figured out most of the inside jokes you've incorporated into your story lines 'cuz you've conveyed them correctly....I'm lovin' the strip....waitin' to see a character with a uke.....Maybe a band in the bar that plays Jimmy music all the time except some Chesney on the 4th Sat. of each month.....to p*** off the regulars.....

Who didn't dance with the palm tree? That thing was almost as popular as the bride and groom. I still am laughing about other guests taking their picture with him.

No lie! He was such a slut!! :o

And hey, we even dressed him up formal in a Magnum PI aloha shirt just for the occasion. :P (And again with the sluttiness... He was nekkid before dessert..... :o :o )

BEG Andretti and her Navigator. Who needs a Ferrari when you've got an SUV? TURN RIGHT, RIGHT NOW!

PHAW: Yes you can get nylons on wet legs, and yes you can get showered, shaved (Happy Shark) and dressed for a wedding in ten minutes flat after 22 hours in a car.

PHAW, upon arrival, after being stuck in traffic: "You go without us, we'll never make it. It's 4:00, we haven't showered, the wedding's at 4:30 and we're 20 minutes away." SGH: "Screw that! We're all in this together. BEG has the truck warmed up and we know the route. STOP TALKING AND GET IN THE SHOWER!"

Happy Shark, upon our gravel spitting slide into the wedding parking lot: "Oh sh*t... Honey, isn't that the car with the (other state) plate we screamed at to get the hell out of our way back in Sacramento?" :o

RedWineMaker: "OMG, the f****** palm tree!" :o

JeepGirl (starting down the aisle, and seeing PHAW): *GASP* :o :o (all the family and friends, unaware of the wedding crashing unfolding, thought something was wrong....  )

And OMG..... just how many of us otherwise upstanding, straitlaced BN women (and some men :o ) blew up that palm tree??  :P
