Ummmm, yeah.. as soon as you stepped out of the shade and into the sun you were pretty much toast... by far the HOTTEST tailgate I have ever been too! Put it this way, I didn't have to pee from the time I left the hotel (2 PM) till I got home at 1:15 AM :-?

Dang....math sux
...either that or I have no concept of time....(probably both)

At least I know that GBM & MMM & Company go home safe & sound.
Sounds like the tailgagte was a success.
Hope to hear all the details from everyone tomorrow.

This is one of those evenings that you know who your friends are. ;)

Hell At Home was just Sonny and his band. No Coral Reefers.

Then, USS Zydecoldsmobile was Hell At Home plus Jimmy!

This was kind of like at The Woodlands in April. Still trying to figure out the mystery song Sonny did there!

I love it.

"These days I get up about the time I used to go to bed."

Thanks for sharing and helping me to feel like I was there. And Jimmy did have on pink shorts. :) :)

I'm tired.

We skipped tailgating; opting to sit by our pool all afternoon and ended up parked in East Jabib. The walk to the gates at about 6:30 was brutal.

the show was fun. It was my first outdoor show and I'll reserve a lot of comments on how I perceived many of the people around me to be behaving.

I did, however, enjoy watching the woman in front of me fall down and puke on herself. She got what she deserved after spending the first half of the show downnig little bottles of Parrot Bay and throwing the empties at other people. that was nice of her.

For someone who is known for his ability to behave badly, a lot of what I saw was rather eye opening.

We also got lost looking for our car.

So was everybody that was at the show getting worried when Jimmy had already played 27 songs then played Rainy Day Women? We thought that might have been the closer, but thankfully you got a great closing song.

At the exact moment that Jimmy and the Coral Reefers were playing "Bama Breeze" Saturday night, we were sitting at the Lulu's Bama Breeze having cocktails in Gulf Shores, Alabama. (see pic below) How ironic <smile>? We had a great time there.

To introduce...during my nomadic travels I have probably been to every city, village, hamlet in North Carolina and fruitcakes are fine.

CAROLINA verse of FRUITCAKES

Paradise; Lost and found
Paradise; Take a look around

Now I was back in North Carolina
Back to see all of our friends
From the outer banks to blowing rock
Who remembers Carowinds?
And those surfers out in Wrightsville Beach
Are dancing on the sea
And those fruitcakes up in Asheville
Are growing herb for you and me

Fruitcakes in the kitchen...
Fruitcakes in Kitty Hawk
From Murphy Isle to Techinclough??? I hear you when you squawk.

Need help with locations??

Ahhh. the Government in space...your tax dollars at work
There are Landsharks on the shuttle
But that toilet's on the blink.
And out in space ain't no place
For p*** in the sink.

Up on Mars the pictures from the lander are quite clear
But instead of finding water
They should be looking for a cold beer.

Religion you know something about religion in North Carolina

...it's that polygamist crew
Hey Rasta Man, I ain't go a clue.

Relationships
The whirring of the blender
Hey give me a little hug

Future
Yea Time is speeding by
Now humor fun and laugter seem to be in short supply
so I'll just watch the daily show
And practice what I preach.
Get jah lost in Robert Nesta Marley as I walk along the beach

Hey we got fruitcakes who drove all the way from Canada here tongiht
I got coast guard buddies from Elizabeth City who are fruitcakes you know
We got the whole Wilmington North Carolina police department here
Oh yeah, fruitcakes on parade..

Thank you, fruitcakes.
It's true we got almost the whole Wilmington police department tonight.
I asked them who's minding Wilmington tongiht.

They said Andy and Barney.

I've had a good time or two in Wilmington...Jimmy said:

Back in the old days we all lived in one bus and I drove the bus!
Late at night there was no other way to get beer, so I just drove the bus to the 7-11 to get beer and sometimes I got detoured and never made it back to my original destination.

that's my story and I'm stickin to it.
