We could certainly join forces. I don't have a portable grill or anything like that, but perhaps the Hampton Inn folks can team up with someone.
I'm bringing the Road Trip grill, along with the 20 lb propane tank.
That should be enough to cook up anything BNers want to bring.

Heard Catch 'n Release and Erin are coming!
Looks like a real fine party coming up in TEN DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She already made sure I was packing the real propane burner for the gumbo pot as well!

She just told me yesterday that she will have the gumbo semi-prepped in the cooler as we head out to Chicagoland.

It's been a while since a guy batted his eyes at me!

I've already got a tailgate of 20 some-odd people otherwise I'd open the floodgates to y'all . . . . I'm getting nervous at the needs for this year. I've still got to get out the who brings what email . . .
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

We also are up for this cooperative tailgate. We are renting a car just to come to the show and will hit the market on the way! We should be at the lt before 2, not sure what time you're planning. In Philly we hit it at 9am and peaked to soon and didn't quite get it back by show time.

I gave the Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Alpine threads the Reds, Pirates and Brewers statues. Since Chicago has 2 teams, take your pick.

Hey guys, been reading the forum and got a few quick questions concerning the show, hopefully you can help. The answers may already be in the thread but here it goes anyway....

- Parking lot opens at 9:00 am? Is that RV's or everyone?
- Do I need an RV sticker for a small pull behind trailer?
- Any ideas as to the size of the parking lot compared to Tinley Park (1st timer at Toyota Park)? Wondering if we need to get there early?

Any help is appreciated.......11 days and counting ! ! !

all parking opens at 9. You probably need to call the venue about your specific situation. Lot holds 8,000 vehicles according to their website--we think that is considerably less than Tinley.

How early are you likely to head over--perhaps the Hampton folks should caravan over together (?)

OMG!!!!! I am getting so excited at this point I may explode before the 26th!! Really need to get my stuff together soon. Summer is flying by and it looks like there is no sign of slowing down. Stupid question.....in a mini-van is there really any way to legally transport mixed concoctions? I always leave everything sealed until I arrive but it would be great if I could just mix before hand. Call me paranoid but when my van is announcing that I am on my way to Buffett...seems like a strobe like for those friendly men in blue. Like I said...stupid question I know but figured where else would be a better place to inquire?

I don't really know how early we are going...... but I do think it's a great idea for us all to caravan over.... then we are all together!

and for all the folks not at Hampton..... how hard is it to get there and caravan with us?????
