RadioMargaritaville on XM Radio

Post by SchoolGirlHeart »

I just saw an article that says the Sirius/XM channel merge begins this week: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13526_3-10089829-27.html

And according to this link (unofficial and apparently to be taken with a large grain of salt) we'll be finding RM on XM channel 55: http://www.digitalradiocentral.com/siri ... us-xm.html

Someone with XM, check it out for us!

We were wondering about how that will affect the DirecTV XM Radio lineup? Any news on that front?

XM now has about 5 or 6 channels from Sirius, at additional cost, nothing I'm interested in but I would love to have RM come over. I'll be watching for it.

I just got off the phone with XM because I had to renew subscription (had trial XM in new car) and the rep said that they have been trained on all the new Sirus stuff and that he thought it would be up in a month or so and that Margaritaville would be in the channel line-up. Let's hope it's sooner than later......
Ciao!

They called me the other nite, cause of the new car trial, and the rep I had was completely clueless, never heard of RM or even just M  :-? All I got was "we have 12 Sirius stations, they are Howard Stern, Oprah (I'm not sure if she really said oprah or Martha stewart, :-? whatever doesn't really matter) , then she named 2 sports stations and that was it........Hello that's only 4 !!!!!!!!!!! Do you see Radio Margaritaville on your list.......No. OK bye [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

It starts on November 12- that is when they merge the XM/Sirius channels. XM'ers will also be able to get E Street Radio and Grateful Dead Radio. Can't wait!
