I can't wait either..this could mean another tour!

Oh, man...I don't know how I will be able to manage my money and vacation time this summer with Jimmy, and now possibly the Dead and the Boss thrown into the mix!

The album, 'Working On A Dream', will feature 12 new songs plus two bonus tracks - one entitled 'The Wrestler' from the movie starring Mickey Rourke of the same name and 'A Night With The Jersey Devil', which Springsteen gave away for free online on Halloween.

totally missed that :(

I finally saw Bruce and the E Street Band for the first time on the Magic tour. In all my years of going to concerts, simply the best concert I have ever seen...

I am looking forward to the album...always looking forward to his new stuff.

I look forward to seeing The Boss again. I want to turn on all the lights in the house and sing Born to Run, just as a warmup….

It was called Working on a Dream. He debuted an accoustic version at a Obama rally. I think somewhere on backstreets.com theres an audio version or video version floating around.

He actually whistles during the middle of the song. LOL

I think the music he has put out the past couple of albums (Magic and The Rising) are as good as some of the music he put out when he was younger. Magic was a great album

I'm in the minority on this . . . I liked The Rising but couldn't stand most of Magic.

It just didn't work for me.

Working on a Dream (the single) was a free download on Monday at iTunes. Missed that, too. :-?

And A Night with the Jersey Devil is no longer on the track list for the new release.

I think they took Jersey Devil off becuase it wasnt a Springsteen song. It was written by two other people and Bruce added stuff at the end. Probably a royaties issue.

I will be in the minority on this, but being a lifelong fan of Bruce i have a feeling this album is going to be a disapointment. I will hold full judgement untill tuesday when it comes out but from the stuff i have heard online i am not digging it.

Outlaw Pete sounds like I Was Made For Loving You by Kiss. Queen of the Supermarket is awful the lyric are just assine. I liked Working on a Dream without the wistling in it.

I am happy the Wrestler is on there and Last Carnival written for Danny. Good Eye is amazing with the bullet mic.

Oh well....I hope hearing the whole thing will change my mind.

I just got my new copy of Rolling Stone yesterday, with Bruce on the cover.

I thought maybe they'd rate it 3 or 3 1/2 stars.... they give it 5 stars, classic status :o :-?

"Springsteen makes his most expansive album since Born To Run"

...don't know about that. I thought Magic would be worthy of 5 stars, but not this work.
I skipped over Outlaw Pete (inadvertantly), and going back..my mouth was just kinda hanging open.
sorry, but i just don't feel it on that one. It reminds me of something Brian Wilson inspired.

nd thats part of the feelhe was looking for on this. Girls in their Summer Clothes was that. And in my opinion this new album went with that feel.
