I've watched from the beginning and why didn't he just step on the damn robot thing in the interrogation room?

How? I have heard from other sources the original is really great. Just looked on Amazon.com & Amazon.co.uk....can't find it in Region 1 or Region Free.

I suppose there may be a website where I can download and watch it, but I'd prefer to watch on the TV...and yes, I could hook my laptop to my TV....but I'm looking for ease here. And if it's that good, I'd like to add it to my collection.

great.. another show that looked like a good bit of programming; only to be an adaptation of a BBC original...

It was a pain, but I actually downloaded it via bittorrent then converted it to DVD. I'm with you on the whole "watching it on TV" I hate watching stuff on the computer! You can find Region 1 bootlegs all day long on Ebay too.

I looked on ebay and didn't intentionally rule out any boot-legs....guess I need to look further.

was hoping the Blu-ray would be region free, but the amazon.co.uk site doesn't specifically list the region for the Blu....so....well I'm not ordering and hoping....guess I could ask..

I love, love, love this show. Having grown up on 70's cop shows this show feels just like on, when in flashback mode. I have seen every episode and don't remember a robot though.
I can't wait for the new episodes.

The original BBC series as you say was brilliant.

There is a follow up series called 'Ashes to Ashes' - are you getting that one yet?
