Larry and I will make every effort to get to the tailgate.
We're driving from Dallas, leaving there Sunday morning.
It's a distance of just over 1000 miles, and if we do just 500 miles each day, we should get there in plenty of time.

You too are traveling together? I want pictures!

Definitely doable. Auntie and I did it from my house (2 hours north of Charlotte in two days). We only drove 6 hours the first day. ANd then 12 hours the second day.

There are 16 HOOTERS restaurants on the route of part II of the "GRUMPY OLD MEN 2009" tour (which includes places like Frisco, Charlotte, Raleigh, Alpine, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and points SOUTH), so we MAY get there in time.

I got my ticket yesterday, but still no parking pass. I did the same thing you did and ordered them about 4 hours apart.
