Nautical Wheelers Video on Margaritavision!
I have to ask this... It might be my favorite video! Is there anyone on here that is in that video? It always makes me wish I got to Key West 20years earlier!

I was at the Lantern Inn many times in those days, not in that video though. Good times.

For us 'youngsters', what was it like back then (at the Lantern, not in general)?Crazy Navy Flyer wrote:I was at the Lantern Inn many times in those days, not in that video though. Good times.

Nothing fancy. Local singers would come in and play. Beer was cold.looking4OPH wrote:For us 'youngsters', what was it like back then (at the Lantern, not in general)?Crazy Navy Flyer wrote:I was at the Lantern Inn many times in those days, not in that video though. Good times.

I think that dude dancing is the famous frisbee guy who likes to entertain beach bodies at Smather's Beach. Who can name that dance he is doing?
Sunset Beach is my Margaritaville. Where there is endless beach, no time, and sunshine that seems to last forever. I know that Someday I Will.....Someday.

Did I see mentioned somewhat that the Lantern Inn is now (or was located where) the Mexican restaurant on Stock Island? We got some killer chips n' salsa there when we stayed on Stock Island a couple years ago.Crazy Navy Flyer wrote:Nothing fancy. Local singers would come in and play. Beer was cold.

Yep, it's a Mexican restaurant now, on stock island. Can't remember when it changed, maybe sometime in the 80's?looking4OPH wrote:Did I see mentioned somewhat that the Lantern Inn is now (or was located where) the Mexican restaurant on Stock Island?
