I must agree. My wife is not a big fan, but a great travel companion and is up for next year. We have out "to do" list and will wait the excruciating 11 months until they release tours dates for next year. Our drive home was 8+ hrs (the RV can't really speed) and we were updating photos and making plans. GREAT GROUP. now to change my 0 to 1
bcspoon wrote:We got back to KS a couple of hours ago and I could not wait to get on BN and change my 0 to a 1. That was a great party and a great concert. I could not have picked a better group of people to be with me as I lost my virginity.

Even though my wife was not a big Parrothead going in, she bought the concert tickets for us because she knew that I had always wanted to go. On the 7.5 hour drive home she was already planning next year’s trip.

Thank you everyone for such a great party and thank you for all of the new friends that we met.
I hope to have some pictures posted in the next couple of days.

Ok, I'm feeling a little better. I just filed a traffic complaint with the Plano PD. Not just to be a b*tch, but because someone is going to get killed in that area, it's just a matter of time. I used to live in Plano. If the PD thinks there's a DUI issue, they'll be all over it. I would have hated to be on that road at 2am.

Oh, have to share a quick, special, totally off topic story. Remember when I said I had to fire someone and work late when I was trying to get ready for the tailgate? It was because my office RN blew a patient off when the caregiver was very concerned. So, my virgin Lisa (company owner) and myself went to see the patient Wednesday evening. Even though it's against rules, we drove him to the hospital because ambulances were on life threatening transfers only due to system overload. The guy had 5 total coronary blockages and had emergency open heart surgery within 12 hours. When my marketer went to check on him, his doctor told the staff in the ICU that we saved his life....he would have been dead by the next day. Wow!!! Now I remember why I do what I do. :o :o :o

hey, I know i did meet you two (four). We will definitely see you next year!!! Next year lets find a place to let the dogs romp together. I'll even bring lei's for your crew. Wish we had a moment to knit together. Maybe next year we'll learn and show up friday night to phlock instead of waiting until saturday morning. Remember, it's not once in a lifetime, it's once a year until Jimmy quits touring!!!

Wow. What a great party. It was great not to be responsible for anything but Beatlesgras and sunglasses (PM your address to me if you didn't pick your shades up and I'll mail them to you) this time around. I really enjoyed getting to watch it all happen.

Thanks for everything. Mr. Play. PirateNurse. HeeHee. The PHarms (we LOVE the PHarms). The tattoo artists. Everyone who manned the grills and who set up the food. Vickster, you did a great job. WheatSailor ... can't imagine having your job ... let's get PHP to build a double decker parking garage at the pavilion in time for next year! :D

Ya'll worked so hard, but you made it look so easy.

Thanks for getting the golf cart, Mr. Play, and thanks for carting me around, AlaBastard. Sure was a lifesaver for me.

Tyler. Was so happy to have you home for a few days. Am so glad you had a good time.
Lynn. Thanks for being a great roomie.
Al. So glad we had some quality face time.
Jen. I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was.

Love you all to the moon and back.

I'm going to book a room at the Comfort Suites every weekend in April 2010 right now. 8)

Brought a nasty cold home ... NyQuil is my best friend right now. Time to call the doctor's office and see if they can work me in today. More later.

Well, I have finally recouperated.

Loved ETP's "love you to the moon and back." My sentiments exactly!!

I am overwhelmed by the amount of money raised, but certainly not surprized. Parrotheads are always generous.

Back to work for me ... I'll look at the pics and post mine tonight during Dancing with the Stars.

I think its great that you're putting the border on that. It really needed it, but there wasn't enough time or yarn to get it done. That big blanket kept growing and growing as more squares came my way. I'm glad it can be washed and dried 'cause I see many a season of use coming out of it.

"I'm going to book a room at the Comfort Suites every weekend in April 2010 right now."

Hey ETP, I was gonna wait till next year. Wouldn't it be phunny if our crew took over the entire hotel for next year within a week of this year's concert ending?

Happy ending to my Nylo nightmare. Phunny how people jump when you start at the top of the ladder. I received a refund for 3 rooms for Saturday night. That's the good news. The bad news...the cab driver taking my virgins to the airport Sunday told them rumor has it that swingers have taken over that hotel. Ooooooooh....and I was sitting on all that upholstered furniture in the bar and poolside. I have to sign off now and go sterilize my hiney. [smilie=puking.gif]
