Re: Landshark Stadium logo
I hsven't seen anyonbe mention the potentially even bigger upside of this....this Stadium is where the Super Bowl is being played...and the NFL has tended to go with "older" acts in the past few years....would seem to be a natural fit. I said as much when I saw the game was in Miami andf this would seem to be it an even more logical choice. Football and Fins!

No, the Giants used to play in Yankee Stadium and the Jests played in Shea Stadium. The Giants built their own stadium in NJ about 30 years ago. The Jests moved and started playing in Giants Stadium back in the '80s. A new stadium is being built, also in NJ, for both teams.Salukulady wrote:Wow, did they always. And how far is it from NY to Jersey?LIPH wrote:The NY Jests and NY Giants both play in New Jersey.Salukulady wrote:Dolphins...mammal....LandShark...fish? Nothing can be as ridiculous as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim....(Anaheim's in Orange County).
It isn't that far from NY, just across the Hudson River. I've never been there but from where I live on LI, if I drove I could probably be there in a little over an hour. From NYC it's a much shorter trip.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

It is a pretty cool logo. I wonder if "Fins" will be part of getting fans fired up before the game

Re: Landshark Stadium logo
Well see? There ya go.
I was obviously on the right track last November when "Landshark Light" advertised
at the Tony Tarracino Memorial Stadium in Critterville Cove.
Confiming, of course, that Jimmy reads the strip and that I am responsible for this latest business decision.
Soooo, "you're welcome" and/or "I am sorry", depending upon your point of view.

Re: Landshark Stadium logo
I personally think its kind of cool. In this day and age where so many stadiums are taking on corporate names I think they made out pretty well. I would rather have a field named after something fun then something like Bank Of America Field or Citifield or McDonalds field. Think of the other directions this could of gone and you realize it isnt really that bad. Besides, its only supposed to be for one year I think, enough to cover the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl.
