Not by design :D

I've done that at Mohegan but would never chance it at Camden, I mean we are talking Camden here aren't we :o :o :o

Not a good plan for this location :o

Party in the day, sober up starting in the later afternoon, hang around after the show drinking water & soda to confirm that your drunk has worn off and drive away after the traffic thins out.

Besides, ya gotta be at least half-way sober to get all your tailgate crap packed back into the car.

And I am going to say it now- not at all directed to you SalCat but as a general piece of advice and reminder for all of us: every year we hear stories after the shows from various concerts around the country "I left my cooler/grill/tent/favorite decoration by my car during the show and it was stolen during the show!!! Who would do that???"

Our rule is to only lock up the items you want to keep. It's a pain to take that tent down when all you really want is one more beer before the show, but it's gotta be done.

blackjack wrote:OK, so here's my semi-final revised menu. Please keep in mind the economy is tough, so I scaled back a little.

24 pieces Jerk Chicken
4 slabs of baby back ribs
2 pork tenderloins
12 jalapeno burgers
200 littleneck clams for steaming (or half-shell if you bring a shucking knife)
Shrimp skewers marinated in fajita seasonings
7 pounds of homemade potato salad
Grilled rum-soaked pineapple rings with cinnamon
30-pack of beer (maybe 60 beers)
Thermos jug of water
Chips and Doritos

Do I need to add London Broil back onto the list?

Anything I'm overlooking?

I think Mick and Gypsie are bringing burgers and dogs with rolls, right guys?
Sounds great!!! We are a little scaled back also, and hampered by our arrival on Friday with a cooler and not much space to put stuff for overnight refridgerated storage, but I don't think any BN tailgaters will go hungry on Saturday!!!

Wow Blackjack...that's a great menu...

We'll only have wings, shish-ka-bob (shrimp, beef, chicken) sliders, and pork tenderloin.
Chips and assorted snacks as well.
On the libation side, we have a half gallon of Don Julio, and two other bottles of tequila, lots of beer, special brew for the shot board, and Bloody Marys and Screwy Mo's for the morning hours..
And as I grow older, there is so much that I do not know. I'm drawn to those who are bolder and go where no one dares to go...

Leave your car in the parking lot???? Absolutely not, whether it's Camden or anywhere. Last year in Phila. when I returned from the show, my car carrier which was back on top of my car with all the stuff that we brought to the show, was opened up and thrown about like useless trash to these vagrants. Table ruined, boom box stolen, top of my jeep scratched to hell. To say I was p*** was an understatement, 20$ to park for what. Lock your car up tight, and even then there are no gaurentee's. FINS UP ALL.

Sounds good and I happened to find one in the freezer already marinated, so I will have one London Broil also.

Looks like staying entirely dry on SAT. might be out of the question. But a passing thundershower will not deter the great time that is front of all of us. Here's hoping that those that are going tonight stay relatively dry, and have the time of their lives.

Two extra lawns for Sat. night. The economy has hit our friends. $100 for the pair is what I think I paid. Let me know.

I left my car in the lot like 5 years ago. The concert it poured for. my friend lost the keyes so i had no choice. I think the police were nice enough to tow it to a safe place for me, dont quite remember.
