He plays with KD, more or less. :pirate:

I know they did some live stuff in KW earlier this year. Usually his website has a few other show that you can go see him at. You cannot enter his site now.

My wife and I have been catching Fingers around Jackson lately. He's come home...

We saw him last night at Soulshine Pizza on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland, MS. He was in great form, blowing that harpoon like always. He's moving a bit slower but aren't we all.

He belted out some great blues like Robert Johnson, some Allman Bros. and of course BUFFETT!

The Buffett songs were as follows...
Tampico Trama
Biloxi
Big Rig
Pirate looks at 40
Wonder why we ever go home
Slipped in a bit of Dixie Diner

He's accompanied by a single guitarist by the name of Mark Whittington. A really great musician himself.

Truly an awesome evening. Up close and personal. He hinted around at getting together with Larry Raspberry again soon. Now that would be cool.

Looking at the Jackson Free Press music listings, they will be doing some more shows in the coming weeks. I also see that Mac McAnally will be at Hal & Mal's on July 9th.

Check it here: http://www.jacksonfreepress.com/index.p ... /listings/

Fingers Taylor is supposed to be playing tonight with a Jimmy Buffett cover band called "Fins to the Left" at Rockin' on the River in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. I'm going to see him along with Michael Utley and Robert Greenidge.

Oh, byrddog151 ! How lucky you are! I did get a google alert on him a few months ago about the pizza place! Would love to go see him! Hard to do on a Thursday since I'm 4-5 hours from Jackson. I read you post to my husband and when I got to Dixie Diner, he had a cow! A huge holy one! LOL It would be awesome if you could post pics sometime if you happened to take some.

Also heard on RM about the show in Ohio with Ut and Robert. That would be so cool!

Fingers Taylor is playing tonight with Doug Franks & Triple Shot, which will be an excellent combo, at a newish place called Bourbon Street in the Quarter on Lakeland Drive in Jackson, Mississippi starting probably about 8 or 9. We have been glad and lucky to have Fingers appearing around town here over the last couple of years. This combo with Doug Franks will be a good opportunity to belt out Dixie Diner. Y'all Google Doug Franks, you'll see what I mean.

Ahhh... A perfect lead in to the Birmingham show...

Thanks Fingers!

Hey Stacie!

Well, Fingers was playing his arse off last Saturday night. He belted out all the big blues tunes he is known for. Looked like his old self for sure. It was great to see him in front of a full band. Excellent!

I did get video but the audio came out terrible. If anyone would like to see it (not so much hear it) I can post it up on YouTube.

Party on Garth...

Heads (Fins) Up!

Finger's is scheduled to play with Mac at Wells Fest In Jackson, MS tomorrow (9/29). I think they go on at 2pm. It's a free festival.

Now... Get that Packard a running

Too bad it'd take the old Packard about 3 days from here. Ought to be a good show. Let us know how it is! :D
