Rush Limbaugh hospitalized with chest pains.

Rush was hospitalized last night in Hawaii, where he's been on vacation. According to his people he's resting comfortably now.

Get well soon, Rush!

I'm not a big Limbaugh fan...but I hope he gets well soon.

One doesn't have to be a fan or agree with someone's politics to wish them well personally, true.

I never cared for Bill Clinton politically, but when he had his surgery a few years back I did send "Get well" greetings via email.

Bad part is, he thinks I like him now

. I somehow got signed up for email tales of all his charity and non profit adventures.

Yep...guess I'll just wish all political folks well wishes in a generic way...don't think I want emails from any of 'em! I probably should have just wished Mr. Limbaugh well without the prefix of not being a fan...no offense meant at all.

I didn't take any offense. I was just pointing out, as you did in your first post, that politics is one thing but humanity is another.

Heck, I'd even wish Al Franken good luck if he had health problems!

I like them both.

It's allowed.

And even if it were someone like Linda Ronstadt (" It's a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody in the audience is a Republican.... It can cloud my enjoyment."), I'd wish them well.

She doesn't have to worry about me attending her concerts, though. I don't want to cloud her enjoyment

While I disagree with many of the antics of the demagogues who appear in the media, I don't wish any of them ill health and I hope that Mr. Limbaugh has a speedy recovery and takes whatever steps he needs to take so that he doesn't have another hospital visit. If that means changing his work habits or his exercise program or diet or whatever, he needs to do so unless he wants more time and trouble in the hospital.
