Yep, my wait time started at 2 minutes, then went up to 5. I broke out in sweats!spark26981 wrote:Got our tix...B2, row 11.
Is it just me, or was TM really slow this year? My wait time bounced around between 1 minute and 12 minutes...way too stressful on the old ticker!
I wanna be there...
Re: Who's Going to Chicago(Toyota Park) 7/23/11?
looking like I will be going through the ticket exchange--needed one in the lower level (not field) and the only tickets I could pull up were 133 and 102, both with no view of the stage.

Re: Who's Going to Chicago(Toyota Park) 7/23/11?
Hokey smokes!! What a scare! Went in looking for 5 "cheapies". (That's the way the party wants to roll this year!) At 10:00..got the ol' "CANNOT FILL YOUR REQUEST" screne. I'm thinkin'..."FRICK!! I can't believe this!"
Went back and ordered 5 again and got the ol' "WAIT IS.....started at 6 minutes...went to 5...4....3...1.
Then BAM! PAYDIRT! I got the tickets, but WTF!.
Not a good day for the "surgically repaired ticker"! lmao But all's well that ends well! See everyone on Julyy 23rd!
FINS UP!

I think they must be processing orders and kicking out those that either have a rejected credit card or went over the maximum per household limit. I needed 8 tickets and bought 2 sets of two and 1 set of 4. So far I have only been able to print 1 set of two...the other ones are "still being processed for online delivery".Lostarlake wrote:Now there are tickets available from Ticketmaster in all price levels. I have been rejecting that section---have a friend who was in 133 last year (parallel section on the other side of the stage) and he could not see the stage at all.Joetown Parrothead wrote:How are seats in section 102???

Yep ~ that happened to me last year. Within seconds it pushed me through to "no available seats". I paniced, and got back into line for "best available", waited like 4 minutes and I ended up paying the high price and was in B5.
This year, I didn't even bother trying for cheap. I went straight for "best available" and got A4 - row 10. Thankfully, they're end seats. *phew*! B5 last year, a few seats in, was rather claustrophobic! And hot!
BTW - does anyone know how many rows there are, in those A sections?
FINS UP! I'm VERY excited!!!

I believe 25ish rows in section A. We had section B last year center on the end. Didn't like that much...constantly people walking up trying to linger till they were told to go sit in their seats only to find out they were wayyyy in the back. Security really has to work the floor seating. I felt for them.CAT wrote:ComeMondayBirdman wrote:Hokey smokes!! What a scare! Went in looking for 5 "cheapies". Re: Who's Going to Chicago(Toyota Park) 7/23/11?
If I do Alpine this year, it's going to be lawn seats and potentially a "bus".... As far as hotel goes, I would love some suggestions (which I'll entertain in the Alpine thread).... The sound in Toyota is much better than Tinley and it's circular so it really doesn't matter where you sit (but I think this year I want a seat in the stands, easier to get out of the venue after the concert....CAT wrote:Great. Scored my desired 6 Premium Parking Spaces . . . The Lounge will have real estate for operation.
Sad when I get more concerned about securing parking spaces vs where I am actually sitting.

The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.
