Unless we luck out & pull really decent seats, that's what we've done in the past. Can't quite justify almost 600 bux for 3 good seats. And after getting pit seats, it's really hard to go sit in the back.Seas in my veins wrote:Now there's a thought.Tropic_Al wrote:From where we set up, we can hear the show pretty well. Rick, bring your fishing gear, the surf isn't too far away. Get there early, have eggs & mojitos for breakfast, do a little surfishing, wander back for the tailgate, listen to the show for free. Now THAT's a plan.gottagofishin wrote:Sounds like a planSeas in my veins wrote:Now there's a thought.Tropic_Al wrote:From where we set up, we can hear the show pretty well. You're right it's not that far away at all. I'll give them a call and see what the rate is, has to be cheaper then a hotel!

To Al...we already talked about possibly hanging in the parking lot if we get stiffed on lawn tickets this year. With RM...it would almost be like seeing the show live with cheap drinks!
If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane ...

That's an easy one
Buy the tickets, then you have until June to make up your mind
then the question will be "Go to the show, sell the tickets"
but my friends just call me RAGZ; so feel free.

Re: Who's going to Camden/Philly 6-23-2011?
Ugh, the Thursday thing is killing me, especially since we will be down for sure the weeknd before for KC/ZBB, and we would have to take 2 days off work for a Thursday show.
We are headed out of town this weekend to New Orleans for a little spring vacation so we'll miss the ticket drop anyway (nothing new there ) and I think a Thursday show is going to have tickets available for a while, so we are gonna play the 'wait and see' game. Why is nothing ever easy?
At least I know we'll see some of you all at Spring Phling weekend!

Re: Who's going to Camden/Philly 6-23-2011?
Since I've tried to get tickets for Great Woods and Jones Beach and Tampa I've noticed a pattern with LiveNation I thought I'd share. Seems to me that they are holding back on tickets, saying they're not available for 10 minutes or so and then VOILA!!! there they are! Keep this in mind on Friday! If there are no tickets available keep trying until there are! That is all!

I noticed the same thing yesterday. I logged into LiveNation yesterday afternoon and Jones Beach tix were available. They were the REAL expensive ones so I passed on them.
