Bill, Danny, Jim, David, Connie, Rhonda, The Boyz, and everyone who volunteered for even one shift, and OMG ETP!!!!THANK YOU!!!!
My brain is really not doing well after the long days of volunteering, walking the lots and of course the concert, but I wanted to say (1) we are finally home, (2) each year I feel that we BN pholks have something nobody else has and I'm very grateful for it. Anyone can go to the red lot or even the gold lot and pull up an RV or two and party like a mad man. Come to our lot and we'll party, but we'll take care of each other too. We share (thanks Pirate Nurse for the coffee so I could make more coffee) with each other, with strangers and we take care of the officials. I am privileged to have found this great group. I wish I could list each of you that made a difference for me this year, but I hope you know who you are because I can't remember all your names. Next year I'm going to have to slow down some more. I was too exhausted to enjoy some of the concert. Next year I'm going to get tickets with ETP because I sat with LSPHC and they talked during most of the concert/were drunk or even arguing.

Phins up to you too.scrapperrock wrote:Had fun with you as well....glad you made it home safely....storms hit Joplin pretty badlyPhreckled Phruitcake wrote:Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers for the FFFV. I had a wonderful time hanging out in the lot with my friends (old and new) and at the concert. A special big thanks to JustShari for going around our lot and picking up all the trash after the concert last night. Also, big thanks to ETP for taking good care of me when I got way too hot yesterday. Ya'll rock! I'm looking forward to next year.
No problem getting home today.
ETP--how did Tyler's trailer axle get damaged?
Making long range plans for next year....already can't wait!!!!
Phins up, my new friend!
Very sad about Joplin and the news just keeps getting worse. My prayers go out to those affected in that area. It could so easily be any of us living here in Tornado Alley. The good thing about Midwesterners and Frisco Feeding Frenzy people is that we take care of each other. I'm proud to call all of you my phriends.

I promise to give him a kiss from you. I did tell him "Hello" from you when I talked to him last night. He is in Greece and Turkey for the summer and will be home again in early July. Not that I'm counting the days! NO, not me!East Texas Parrothead wrote:Hey, sweet girl. I'm so glad to be able to help. He's 70 miles from Knoxville. Glad you made it home okay. Kiss Capt. Tony for me when he gets home!
Hope you got your final status call and that Tyler made it home safely.

Phin-tastic! You were the first to share. I've got to write in the damn Duckett diary, ship him off and then upload all my photos. I'm going to need some help "tagging" people. And if ANYONE has photos of me, please share! Danny has the one of the shark sandwich and I need that desperately! (It's going to be my avatar)LIPH wrote:I lied, here are my pictures. Re: 5th Annual Frisco Feeding Frenzy - 5/21/11
Sorry for not posting sooner. I unloaded everything yesterday and then I just crashed.
Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting us again this year. There were a few minor flaws but I hope everyone had a good time and will make plans to be back again next year. Overall I was able to relax and have more down time than I think I ever have before. That says a lot for the tremendous efforts from the amazing support staff we've put together.
I'm still waiting for a few last minute deposits, but overall I expect the total for charity to be somewhere around $6k to $7k. I hope to have everything accounted for this week so I can include the total in the final Friday update and start with the distributions next week.
Thanks to all of the volunteers that manned the grills and sales table, and got stuff for the silent auction.
A party of this magnitude would not be possible without everyone pitching in to do their part.
Special thanks and recognition to the following for doing way more than their fair share;
D PHarmBoy Danny for the use of the trailers and tiki bar, going with me to get all the food, and being my right-hand man
PHarmgirl Lori for all the hours spent accepting payments and doing the accounting
Wheatsailor Jim for coordinating the parking logistics and setting stuff up
Gpblxbeach Michele and Joe for covering the postage on mailings
ABQKeet Tyler for the help loading up the last minute items Friday morning, pulling the Leaky Tiki, and setting stuff up
Dancing Light David for the help setting stuff up and trying to fix my suspension
Danielmorgan03 Aaron and his crew for the help setting stuff up on Friday
Joddski and the Boston crew for the help packing everything up on Sunday
Tropicalfever Rusty for providing the dunk tank t-shirts and fire hose and running it to our lot; also setting stuff up Friday and packing it all up on Sunday
Scrapperrock Connie for coordinating the silent auction
PhijimanOK for the help setting stuff up and packing everything up on Sunday
Srkmrd Don for the help packing stuff up on Sunday
Gingerbreadman Dave for recording the concert and providing the master CD's
Bubbaphan Alan and his band, and run_ride_hide Len for providing the musical entertainment
