see you at Two Seasons Bowl!!
i'm going to try and get there early enough for the radio margaritaville broadcast!
I am thinking about trying to get there early enough for the Radio Margaritaville broadcast too...JD gave a shout-out to the Two Seasons bowl yesterday as I was listening on the way home from work.
it's worth the price just for the buffett bash on friday night alone...good, good time.
not sure about a campfire. it's not really a campground. it's a bowling alley/golf driving range, and they convert the range into a campground for alpine weekend.

Isn't it preposterous compared to years past?? I guess most people are containing their excitement until they get there!
OK all - finalizing the presale and comittment list. I have 67 registered from BN. If anybody else needs to get on the list, please contact me no later than Wednesday June 22nd. We will be opening up remaining availability on Friday at that time and it will be FCFS. We have 392 presales so we still have 158 available before we need to close it out.
Shuttle transport has been confirmed for Friday. It will start at 4pm and run thru 3am. If you are not on the p/u list and are planning on using it, please contact me prior to Thursday June 23rd.
There are 7 bus tickets left for Alpine, again please contact me if you are interested.
We have 3 BNers who have extra tickets (pavilion), I will have contact info on Friday or you can contact me prior and I will connect you up. There are 4 sets of 2.
Wow, can't believe it's less than a week away. Looking forward to seeing all those from the last few years on Friday & Saturday!
We have our Buffett crew of 8 coming down to 2 Seasons Bowl Friday and Saturday. Just got our Pop up ready.
As far as I know, there is NO campfires. They do host a large bonfire but no private campfires are allowed.
Can't WAIT!!
Also - I apologize if this was answered elsewhere... but last year we didn't get into the lot until about 2 hours before the show. We sat in line outside the gate for a good 2 hours.
Tailgating was quite dismal. (but I was preggers, so I didn't really mind the lack of insanity.)
Does anyone know what the deal was, and if they will hold off opening the gates again? Or how to get around this?
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Alpine in less than a week...If you have any questions about policies, show items, etc, post them and I'll do my best to answer away...Also, check us out on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/alpinevalley#! ... sictheatre

My wife injured her leg and now has to wear a boot and cannot walk/stand for long periods of time. We are coming on a bus, but don't imagine that her handicapped parking permit is going to do much good. What accommodations can be made to optimize her Parrothead experience at Alpine this year? We have reserved seats, so that's taken care of, it's the journey there and back that's got me a little worried.
Also, are cameras allowed this year? For some people it is the only way to remember what went on at the show!
Thanks!
Some people never find it
Some... only pretend, but me...
I just want to live happily ever after, every now and then.....

Brian, is that still you??
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

Yep, I'mmmm baaack and watch for me in the lots, at the gates, and in the theatre for the show. Look for me on a black ATV cruising around.

We do offer disabled accessible parking in the Alpine Valley Resort lot for those that have issues with navigating the hill and down into the reserved seating area. A shuttle is offered from this lot to the theatre (right to the reserved seating sections). Unfortunately, due to the difficulty of navigating the regular parking lots, we are unable to offer the same shuttle service from the other parking lots (including the lot where busses and oversize vehicles park). We may be able to do this on a best efforts basis, but cannot guarantee it.
Also, per the tour rider that we received, cameras of any type are not permitted into the show. Enjoy!

I've read this whole thread and I still don't really understand the VIP parking pass. 2 Questions: Does having this pass allow access to the good/big lot at Noon? And if so, are we supposed to bypass the mile-long traffic line that's always there?

Seeing as there is really only one podunk two lane road in/out, no amount of money or passes can get you by the traffic line (unless you can get clearance for a helicopter).
