Oh absolutely Tampa, but I took it to mean one I hadn't been to yet. But yeah the Tampa tailgate rocks. I'd put Raleigh up there with it. And while I didn't enjoy Jones Beach when I went I think the venue itself is really cool.

Yeah, I know, but it just seems too big and too much. Plus I don't think I could start tailgating one full day before the concert. But they do raise good money for charity.

Never seen Jimmy at the Casa Marina beach stage, but I hear that it is magical.

I have been to Great woods over 30 times in the last 20 years... Mohegan (tailgating aweful) And Vegas 4 times. I want to see at least a half dozen new venue's next year.

You don't have to start partying the day before.ScarletB wrote:dnw wrote:Never been, but a lot of the BNers like Frisco.

You can do as much or as little as you want.

Re: What is your MUST SEE venue?
Pine Knob (Michigan) is a lovely "old style" venue. Smaller, intimate. One of my favorite places to see Jimmy. I'd choose it even if I didn't live a couple of hours away.
The Hawaii Shell was beautiful....but no tailgating. The BNers met up at Dukes and Margaritaville, so it really didn't matter.
Texas knows how to throw a party! I went to Hoot Island which preceeded Frisco and it was a blast.
The only place I've ever seen Jimmy, that I wouldn't go back to was Alpine Valley, but that is a favorite of a lot of BNers.
