Glad someone is! I didn't want to come back to this wretched place! But alas, thus is life. I nearly lost my mind about two weeks ago wanting to prep for snowboarding...sigh...and I miss the ocean so much (I can't listen to When the Coast is Clear right now - it hurts too much, since I lived in a touristy area of Maine before and it applied so much. I'm not changing my sig yet, but...sigh...)...and the trees...and the fact that some plants are actually, you know, alive. I didn't miss the traffic and the greyness and the smog and the brown grass at all.

But there are people here that I love with all of my soul, and they make it okay.

I'm already planning how to get the heck out of here as often as possible come winter (gods, I will miss it) and get to some snow, but they make planes for a reason, and my job change was quite the upgrade, so hopefully I can use them often.

As for the ocean, well...not likely, but maybe I can make it once occasionally. We shall see. It's only, oh, seven hours away.

And New Orleans is nine, so...

Yeah. I'm going to go now. I'm getting depressed.

(Not really, as I came to terms with this a while ago, but it is awfully rough. But that people thing really is good. I love my Texas BN'ers and Frisco and friends I've had for twenty years, so...I'll live...but that snow thing? Not negotiable. I really have already planned trips out of here!)

Leave Providence Friday or Saturday and return either Sunday or Monday. Southwest has some decent fares direct to Tampa. We can pick you up at the airport!!!
