Hey Peeps been a long time since I was here. Planning my wifes 50th B-Day party in May. Thinking about the Margaritaville Resort in Pensacola. Wanted to know if its worth Family and Friends to fly in from around the country. Those of you who have been, would love to here your suggestions.
Thanks Gregg

Re: Planning wifes 50th.
You are one awesome husband! Are you going to have the party there? We went after the Gulf Coast concert and it was really beautiful. We ate at Frank and Lola's and the food was great. Didn't see the rooms but all the public places we went to were very beautiful. The beach was very nice also and May would be so pretty! There is also a beach bar....Landshark Landing......it was just before the grand opening when we were there but looked really nice. The whole place ain't cheap to stay......or eat.....
I don't know about having a private party......could be serious money but I would call them to see what they could do for you. I guess having family come would depend on budgets and what the weather is where they live.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

We have friends that stayed there and although rather pricey said it was wonderful. I saw many pics of the hotel rooms and they were quite nice. Hope that helps.
It was my first look baby that's all it took

I don't think your wife will be disappointed with the Margaritaville Hotel. Sounds like a wonderful 50th.

Hey,
My wife and I went there last May and it was great. We stayed 4 nights. Could have stayed longer. Were looking to go back again in the new year.
The rooms are fantastic! Lots of room and great decor. Get a room facing the gulf. Well worth the price. Land Shark Landing is a great hang out.
We went the week before Memorial Day so there wasn't a crowd but plenty of people having a good time.
You'll have a great time there.

I had my 50th at a local Elk's Lodge drinking shots from dixie cups....so yeah, that sounds pretty fabulous!
